@JoRaRaRa that's an excellent question, thanks for encouraging us to reflect on the lovely treats we've opened so far 😄I've just rolled in from my Christmas do and had 2 people remark on my glowing skin (I did go there straight from the sauna so that may be related BUT I'm choosing to believe it's the resurfacing complex - and I just bought the eBay one, thank you marvellous enablers😅) So that's obviously been a win, but at the moment I'm most excited to crack open the La Mer cream - I think the combination of an active product with a nourishing one has to be great.

Oooo loving today's perfume 😍 it's gorgeous and feels so Christmassy! I think it's quite a daring scent, it's unisex but leans masculine in my opinion, and it's powerful. But so festive 🎄🎅

Now we're in single digits, I'm going to open my Harrods chocolate calendar and use my Harrods Christmas bear cup 💚 what a good day it's going to be!

Excellent day for me - I was very ready for something gorgeous smelling, and this is the sort of perfume I love. I've spritzed some on my wrists already and am looking forward to the dry down. It's changed quite a bit already in the first ten minutes.

I could remember today's, I don't know why it stuck in my head but it did 🙈 so when you were saying yesterday that you wanted something fragrant now, I was like 'just wait til tomorrow' 💃 I didn't dare reply as I would've totally given it away 🤣

These are the notes according to Harrods, and it's page on fragrantica - I totally agree this starts with quite a strong woody/masculine smell and then shifts into something quite sweet and softer.

@JoRaRaRa you have an excellent memory! I knew there was a perfume at some point but couldn't remember what or when. Sort-of related, I did read recently that smelling seven or more distinct smells a day helps keep your brain healthy, so maybe it's essential to our wellbeing to keep exposing ourselves to these various scents and potions? 🤔😂

A better day today. 😃 Haven’t opened yet as we are away but looking forward to trying it when I get home. Wondering if DH will try to convince me that it is too masculine for me and I need to pass it to him! 😆

I was just thinking I was ready for a fragrance and here it is! I’ve already had a spritz and I was initially unsure but it’s mellowed beautifully through the day.

Does the fragrance smell less masculine as it settles?

@pinkchampagne1 absolutely yes, the woody note disappears completely on me anyway, and it ends up quite sweet and soft.

I am going to give this perfume a whirl as it seems a good one. I have only tried one of the Harrods fragrance calendar ones as worried they may be too masculine.
I also need to sort my lack of sense of smell as I can only smell if I give something a good sniff!

Day 17 is a skincycles lip tint - I know nothing about this brand, and was mildly alarmed when I opened the box as the interior of the box is a really strong red. Luckily the tint isn't, it's very subtle, feels lovely, really moisturising and has a slight smell of orange peel / citrus. I really like it, my lips look plumper and healthier.

I was the same - a bit unsure when I opened it but WOW. I wish I'd waited until after my morning cup of tea to try it out now!

I was really hoping that this would be today's, my lips are in need of a boujee lip balm. I like that it has spf in it. It's worth £55 so should be good stuff 🤞😍

That’s an expensive lip balm! Wonder what the total cost of the things we’ve had so far is. I am pretty impressed with the calendar so far after being unsure when it was first released.

I've kept a total on my work laptop but I'm not working today so I'll look tomorrow and post, unless someone else posts the total so far first 😊

Oh well done for keeping a total of the calendar products. 😃 I bet we have quite a lot of value in the bits we have so far.

I really like today’s, I like to have something on my lips but not always a lipstick so this is a nice offering for my days off. Mine was very messy when i unscrewed the lid though - anyone else?

Does anyone else double check for a second item when it’s only a small item in the drawer?

@Isabelle70 in my case no, because I added in other bits from the Beauty Carnival event to any underwhelmingly tiny drawers. The 8ml moisturiser still slightly shocked me though 🤣. Would say I'm very happy with the calendar over all though.
