Does anyone else double check for a second item when it’s only a small item in the drawer?

I also added the odd extra item to any disappointing days. I think other than the SPF, there aren’t many DOD’s though. Think last year’s calendar (although very impressive) had a couple more days with just a single tiny product.

diamondsandrose · 17/12/2025 17:33

Yes agree the main DOD was the 8ml spf which was very cheeky and should at very least had another small item from the brand in it . It was blatantly a free sample type size

Yes it was, it says ‘sample not for sale’ on the back of the box! They should have thrown in at least another sample size product

BlueLimes · 17/12/2025 17:45

I was thinking of putting this on vinted but it sounds like I might like using it?

I don't know much about this but found some marketing blurb online - The Lancaster Sérum Princier Facial Serum helps skin recover from photoaging damages by redensifying the skin and smoothing wrinkles and fine lines. 80% of aging signs are induced by sun exposure. Tackling 8 photoaging damages, this facial serum is infused with multi-patented R.O.E. technologies. Cationic Liposomal Retinol (R) helps boosts the skin’s natural collagen production, Oxygen in Matrix (O) helps renews skin cells, and the Double Liposomal Skin Repair Enzymes (E) helps repair multi-origin damage at cells core and accelerates the skin’s self-repair capabilities. To further reinforce the skin barrier and soothe the skin, this skincare serum is completed with strong VitE-Mega, niacinamide and prebiotic.

I didn't get chance this morning to properly look at these (managed to snap a quick photo though) but I'm pleased with this duo today. If the serum is good for soothing and repairing skin, I bet it's a good one to use the morning after using the ubeauty serum 🤔

If you meant the lip tint here, yes, it's got a lovely texture and feels luxurious. I liked the very subtle tint and how healthy it made my lips feel, but it didn't actually last on my lips very long at all which is my only downside.

Also I forgot to say @JoRaRaRa I did use the Christophe Robin salt scrub and mask on Monday before going out - the salt scrub is a little tricky to use and goes a long way, it did temporarily make my hair look like one giant version of the clumps of hair you pull up from the shower drain, which was unnerving, but using the mask after fixed that. I ended up just leaving my hair to air dry as I was running late and it dried like it had been styled - I've never had my hair just do that without some kind of heat styling - it looked healthy, had volume without being flyaway and dried perfectly straight.

I think this skin care is really expensive stuff from what I remember from an unboxing of the calendar. Don’t know which moisturiser to try first!

pinkchampagne1 · 18/12/2025 14:14

Just watched the unboxing again, just up to today, and these 2 little products together are worth £100! 😮

Lemonademoney · 18/12/2025 16:09

Oh my god!

LightandBreezy · 18/12/2025 17:12

That's good to know, I can tell myself now I'm definitely not allowed to like them 😅😂

The 15ml moisturiser works out just over £43 and the serum is ridiculously expensive for a full size and apparently the little one we get in the calendar is worth £57!!

Did loads of hair come out with the scrub? I'm nervous that it'll make mine fall out, more then what it is already doing.
I was going to use the mask as an overnight mask the other day, but it got late and I cba to do it 🤣 I'll do it on Friday 🥰 hoping for silky afterwards.

That is mad! £57 for that little 7.5ml 😳 I was late to the office this morning (binmen and bus drivers are fully to blame 🤣) so I didn't get chance to update my spreadsheet. I've just put on the special mask again, it seems a bit thicker this time, so maybe it needs stirring?

I know, it’s crazy! Saying that, do you remember the little serum we got last year in the fancy green box? That 10ml was worth something silly like £175!

Oh yes 😊 I'm actually using that orveda one at the moment. It's nice but I preferred the clé de peau one. I really like all the clé de peau skincare that I've tried. I'm hoping that because it's owned by shiseido that the moisturiser we've received is like the cdp one 🤞🤣

diamondsandrose · 18/12/2025 19:06

The Lancaster cream 50ml is around £200 and the serum about the same . Lovely to try ! Don't seem very widely available in the UK so maybe a new line ?

Agree with pp re longevity of the lip balm, it’s not got much too it has it ? Bit watery . I hoped it would have more substance.
Loving the hair products , the scrub is a bit odd in theory but the salty bits just rinse right off and it’s an amazing rich shampoo that made my hair so clean , agree the mask was needed afterwards ( perhaps as the shampoo had rid my hair of lots of build up ?) and the combo of them plus the Davines leave in was fantastic!

pinkchampagne1 · 18/12/2025 20:27

This is 30ml of the serum. Says it has 10% off here so usually £269! I am hoping for great things at that price!

I really liked the CDP serum too - it gave a lovely glow. The orveda one was nice but not £170 nice!

Yep, that's what I've been thinking too. I feel like I want to start the Lancaster duo straight away when I finish what I'm currently using. My plan had been to put it in my stash, but I'm not sure I can wait 🤣

No, no more than after a usual wash. Then I was pretty careful and gentle when using the mask, I combed it through slowly with my fingers because I was worried about the mega- matt, but the tangles came out easily. My hair is very prone to tangling anyway though as it's currently very long, with very fine strands, and quite dense so there's lots of it. I'll use the scrub again at some point but I think it's definitely an occasional thing, and a bit of a faff.

Eek!! This one is soooo exciting and looks so luxurious 😍 I'm sure it's one of the reasons we all bought this ac! This is probably going to be the one I use first tbh, given the worth of it.

The description says Offering a luxurious, skin defining formula, L'Elixir des Glaciers Votre Visage provides a sumptuous, creamy texture that melds into the skin to renew and restore the skin's youthful appearance. This cream's versatile formula leaves skin looking and feeling smoother, firmer and better toned for a healthier, more youthful appearance. To use: Apply mornings and evenings to the face and neck.

50ml retails at £678, although, debenhams has it for half price 😉
