I've used this before a looooooong time ago, and can't remember it really, but seeing as my favourite beauty product is luxe moisturisers, I'm very happy with today. One of the moisturisers I'm currently using is from last years SNK advent though so it may take me a while to get to this!

I'm thrilled about this, it was my main reason for buying the calendar so I could try out something I'd never spend money on but am curious to try!

So far, I am pretty impressed with this calendar as we have got some real treats each day. 😊

I'm so pleased with today's 😍 I did receive a small pot of this last year in the Harrods summer Gwp, and it was gorgeous 💚 I'm currently using the night cream and that's nice too. I just wish it wasn't so expensive 🙈

I used the u beauty serum last night with the la mer night cream over, and my skin feels so smooth, soft and hydrated this morning 😊

I'm currently using the night cream tiny pot that was in an edit. I like it more than the standard La Mer but I think it's the most spendy of the range.

Not one I see me buying going forward as I'm happy with AB Rich Cream as my regular night cream. That's also fairly expensive but much easier to find on a decent discount than any La Mer creams. I like the pump system on AB too.

The La mer night cream is really nice, but so easy to put on more then you need. It's hard to beat AB the rich cream, especially this time of year, but I do like trying out new products 🥰 I'm looking forward to trying the Medik8 night cream that I picked up in the recent CB edit, I'm hoping it's nice as I've got 2 and it's cheaper then AB and La mer 🤣 Here's me trying to use champagne skincare products on a lemonade budget 🥂🍾🤣 I guess that's why I bought this calendar 💚

I think I'm going to break my own rules and just crack into something skincare from the calendar immediately - other than the leave-in conditioner and blush drops I haven't touched anything as I've been trying to use stuff I already have first. But I've had a crap day and the only thing that can save it now is the promise of waking up looking lovelier than I feel 😂

AB Rich Cream fans, have you tried the Drunk Elephant one with the lilac top? It was in the SNK calendar last year and to me it's a bit similar in terms of texture and having that comforting occlusive feel, but less than a 1/4 of the price per ml.

Not as exciting today but I do like these and need a new one.

Bobbi brown eyeshadow stick. I agree @pinkchampagne1 not very exciting, but I'll use it too. A nice glittery / shimmery one would've been nice ✨💁🏻‍♀️

Yes I was disappointed that it wasn’t a nice glittery one. I had a lovely shimmery shade in JL a couple of years back and have pretty much used it up. They are handy to pop in your make up bag when you’re travelling

I've also had these eyeshadow sticks before and like them but my other 2 shades have some subtle shimmer and it's pretty and flattering. Still, maybe it'll be nice to have the novelty of a matte one 🤷🏻‍♀️ I had added in a Trish McEvoy Mascara to today's drawer which probably was meant to replace the Laura Mercier one from day 1 as I can only wear these tubing ones.

Today is the 111skin cryo mask. I absolutely love this mask 😍 I have a box of them in my stash, it's my favourite mask to use. As I already have quite a few of these, it isn't an exciting day for me unfortunately. I'll pop this in my stash as I already have another cooling in the fridge 💙

I think we got this mask in last year’s calendar and it did make my skin feel nice. I also added a Sunday Riley Good Genes to today’s box.

It was the rose one we got last year. That one is nice too but I like the cryo one more 😊

Oh and today marks over halfway through the advent calendar 😭 13 drawers opened, 12 to go.

I opened the wrong drawer this morning and didn't realise till I checked the thread 😂 Happy with this mask, I've had the rose ones before and liked them enough to repurchase so hopefully I'm going to love this one too.

I was a bit disappointed this morning as we've already had a cooling mask (which I love), but you've all made me feel more enthusiastic now :-)

Oh that’s good to know. I remember we had a 111 skin mask last year but forgot which type it was.

Day 14 are some Christophe Robin hair products - a 75ml hair mask and 40g of a sea salt scalp scrub (trying saying that last bit fast 20 times to add a little challenge to your morning 💅🏼) Not sure how I feel about today, I've only used one Christophe Robin product before and it was awful, got chucked in the bin in the end. But I've heard these scalp scrubs are good, and I feel like you can't go that wrong with a hair mask, surely? But also I don't really have any scalp issues fortunately so not sure if the scrub is something I should even try! The reviews on look fantastic are good for both of these, but they were for the dreadful stuff that got binned too so 🤷🏻‍♀️ Has anyone here used these and loved them?

I’ve used the scrub before - I wasn’t sure I was using it properly. I have long hair and didn’t want to damage it so applied it using my finger tips as close to the scalp as possible… think I only attempted it once before deciding it was a lot of work.

I'll probably gift my sister the scrub. But I'm looking forward to trying the mask 🥰 I also have the SNK calendar and after getting haircare in that one for the last 2 days, I'm a bit meh about today's Harrods drawer 🤣

I think I had this scrub in JL in 2023. Was never sure I was using it properly and think I still have some left.
Not the most exciting day today. Last year we didn’t get any hair care at all in the Harrods calendar which I thought was due to the separate hair advent.

Yeah, we seem to have quite a bit of haircare this year. I also have the hair and body calendar so I would've preferred makeup or skincare today, but I will use the mask so I can't complain too much. I also got the scrub in 2023 and finally threw it away a few weeks ago. I think I'd used it once 🙈🤣 I know my sister likes a scrub whereas I feel like I'm pulling my hair out with them so she can have that, I'm not even going to try with it again.

I like the hair mask. I had one in a BAC last year. Left my hair really silky. Not fussed over the scrub, will pass that on.
