Lash and brow serum 😕 I like Champo as a brand but I'm not sure I can be bothered with these 🤣

I have given the brow serum to my mum as my bushy eyebrows need no help growing! 😆
Have kept the lash serum but never used anything like this before. A lot of calendars seem to include lash serums this year.

I used to complain about getting lash/brow serums but a few months ago decided to start actually using one and it has made quite a difference to my short lashes.

Slightly less success on the brows but I'm going to keep going, I have one brow that is fairly full and one that's missing quite a lot of hair. Hoping they might start to even out. You do have to remember to use it AM and PM though. It's one of those products if you stopped using it the results would go away.

JoRaRaRa · 23/12/2025 09:22

@pinkchampagne1 @OvaHere I've bought lash serum before and then not been consistent with it then eventually thrown it away 😕 Do you think I could open one of them and use it on both my lashes and brows? I might compare the ingredients 🤔 That way, if I give up after a couple of days, I can sell the other one 🤣 I wonder why these weren't day 1, we could've all had bushy brows like pinkchampagne by now

Trust me, you don’t want my eyebrows - they need a lot of maintenance. If I don’t have them waxed every 8 weeks or so, I begin to resemble a bear! 😂 Certainly don’t need anything to encourage eyebrow growth!

I think JL included a serum for eyebrows and eyelashes this year so it must be a thing. 🤔 Give it a try!

The one I've been using is a Beauty Pie one for lashes I'd stuck in a drawer for age. I've used it on both but maybe that's why it hasn't done as much for brows? Some brands double up and say for lash or brows so I feel like it's all the same product. I could be wrong though.

I'm getting to the end of Beauty Pie now (they seem to last forever) so I'm impatient to try a different one.

Harassedevictee · 23/12/2025 10:04

Lash and brow serums are completely new to me.Very interested to try them.

namechange0998776554799000 · 23/12/2025 10:52

I used lash & brow serums after losing all my hair (chemo) and they definitely work. I've read things about the lash ones potentially having some nasty side effects (fat loss or even changing the colour of your eyes!) but I'm not sure if that's just an urban myth type of thing. But because of that I stopped using the lash one and I think I'll only use this one for a short while. The brow one I only stopped using because I forgot about it and my brows are very sparse now so I'm happy to have a reminder to start using one again!

namechange0998776554799000 · 23/12/2025 10:55

One funny story: when I was young I had a huge unibrow, my eyebrows really did take over half my face. I started waxing them at 18 and they were a nice normal shape by the time I had chemo 2 years ago. When my hair started growing back I had a sudden panic that my real eyebrows would grow back 😆 Luckily they came back exactly as I'd sculpted them over the last 25 years so that was a good lesson in how waxing eventually becomes permanent!

Some like Grande Lashes and UK Lashes have an ingredient (prostaglandin?) that can cause hollowing of the eyes. I only use the peptide ones which aren't quite as effective but safer. I believe all the ones in BACs this year are just the peptide sort but obviously always check the label.

I think my missing eyebrow is down to youthful over plucking. Weird how it's only one side though.

LightandBreezy · 23/12/2025 15:20

I forgot to take a photo before I dashed out this morning but here we are at Day 23 😅 - the Champo lash serum and brow stuff. I'm not really that excited by this generally - I have the revitalash lash stuff and it's great, very effective but I forget to use it consistently so will try harder with this.

I might try the lash serum but I don’t think I will be consistent with it.
I have to give my ridiculously thick and long brows a Sunday trim with scissors so I won’t be trying the brow serum or I will be doing the mid week as well!

LightandBreezy · 24/12/2025 07:20

Good Morning and here we are at Christmas Eve! 😊 December has flown by hasn't it! Is everyone feeling ready for tomorrow? Harrods BAC's offering for today is the Tatcha Indigo Night Repair Cream, described as a serum-in-cream. Think it's a 15 ml but it's still too dark for me to read the pot 😂 Maybe the idea here was that we put it on tonight and awake on Christmas morning fully 'repaired' from the toll of dashing around all December. Anyway, as I've said many times, I love moisturisers, so yay I'm happy again. I did stick a mini Dewy cream in the same drawer so it's a double-Tatcha day for me - love their kissu mask so hope I'll love these too.

Yes I think that's the idea @LightandBreezy By the size of the teeny weeny pot, it's only going to do half a face 🤔 so decide which side you want to look best tomorrow 🤣

I actually think this is soooo bad for Christmas eve that it's funny. That should 100% be a full size pot. If harrods are reading this, c'mon! It's a luxury ac and christmas eve and you gave us a teeny tiny tatcha, you set of grinch's 🤣🤣

JoRaRaRa · 24/12/2025 07:54

I love the Indigo cream but this is the one product in the BAC I'm a bit insulted by.

Tatcha isn't cheap but it's not Cle de Peau price, they could have stretched to a 30 ml for Christmas eve. Even a 15 ml and thrown in a Dewy/Water Cream 10 ml alongside it

BlueLimes · 24/12/2025 08:28

Agree and although I’ve really liked the calendar, SNK has felt more generous.

pinkchampagne1 · 24/12/2025 09:53

I agree that the teeny pot of Tatcha feels stingy for Christmas Eve. They could have put a full size in today’s drawer, or like you say, doubled it up with another product. IMO the products in the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day boxes should be the most exciting.

I'm not sure why the Evidens mask wasn't in todays drawer. Seems more appropriate way to curate a countdown calendar. A teeny Tatcha pot would have stung less earlier in December.

I totally agree. The Evidens mask or the MZ eye cream with the masks would have been better placed in the Christmas Eve drawer IMO. I have been pretty impressed with the calendar in general, it just kind of feels that they peaked too soon with the really impressive drawers.

pinkchampagne1 · 24/12/2025 10:41

Lets hope Harrods are reading this thread 😁

LightandBreezy · 24/12/2025 12:15

Well, ignoring the poor planning of the product order briefly, I've used the Christophe Robin hair mask today for the 3rd time and I'm really liking it, yet again I left my.hair to air-dry and it looks more done than it would usually - less flyaway, more groomed. Will check out the price as this could be a repurchase for me although I'm keen to try the Shiseido Fino and/or Tsubaki ones that are on Stylevana. Also started the MZ eye cream this morning and I love it, the texture is great, feels rich but not heavy, could be a holy grail 😍

@LightandBreezy the hair mask is really nice. I got one in an AC last year.

It's often on offer on LF so try not to pay full price for it as I do think it's overpriced at the RRP despite being lovely. I believe it's one of those brands that The Hut Group own.
