I think ive tried this before from a cult edit and wasnt keen so will sell on. Tbh ive not opened mine yet. Sold some bits i know ill not use x

Hmm may sell mine - I’ve 4 unopened eye creams and they always seem to last ages.

Has anyone tried the Dyson hair serum yet?

I have, I really like it!

NorthFaceofthelaundrypile · 11/02/2026 07:26

I’ve been using the oil since Christmas and love it. Just been online to look at reordering and it’s eye wateringly expensive!
If you’ve not tried it, it’s incredibly light on your hair, I’ve got fine hair and it leaves it really soft.

Doglover73 · 11/02/2026 08:28

I wonder if its ok for wavy/curly hair?
If not ill give my daughter.
Ive not opened mine properly yet. Sold the odd thing I knew I wouldn't use but just waiting for the right time to get lots of joy from it. 🤣
Tbh ive too much stuff and trying to sort out stuff before i open them. 🙃

I've got dry curly hair and the Dyson did not help. The K18 oil did not do anything for my hair either where as the brand's hari mask was very good. TBH very little works on my hair type.

Doglover73 · 11/02/2026 19:03

Snap. Its driving me mad. One side curly one frizzy. The k18 oil id usd previously and made my hair dry so sold them. Saves me opening it. 🤩
Ive spent a fortune on haircare products. Not unusual i know when you have wavy/curly hair. Its a minefield.

Have you tried Charlotte Mensh - I think that’s meant for curly hair.

Mines not curly but a hint of humidity gives me a Monica. I’ve been doing a low bun at work.

Things that don’t stop frizz:
moroccan oil spray
Aveda styling cream in pale blue bottle
Ouai anti frizz cream
Percy and Reed
Paradox heat spray

Things that are good:
Kerestace light green tube
wow dream coat

But my search confines !!

Thanks. Wow dream coat did not work for me. Nor did the Charlotte Mensah shampoo. Or Dizzyak.

Like @Doglover73 I've spent a fortune trying products.

Well I have finally got around to trying the Hourglass lipstick and I love it . I am a warm olive colouring and I think it really brightens my face . On me it is very orange/brown which is perfect. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to try it I think it will be a new favourite especially autumn/winter

I gifted this to a friend as it wouldn't suit me. It looks really lovely on her though.

Doglover73 · 13/02/2026 08:25

Oh i need to start trying stuff before the new advents come out. 😆
I have form for forgetting about stuff then finding stuff months later 🙃
Im going to try the lipstick.
The Charlotte Menesh was ok for a while but then felt quite heavy. Still hav some in my stash but my his really dry atm so will try again in summer.
Its so annoying. My hair also changes with the seasons/days of the week.
I do watch the vids on instagram etc but never works on me.
My hair has looked its best when ive done a quick wash as not going anywhere, ive bot took much notice of what ive used and then its looked lovely. 😂
Annoying. The more i faff the worse it looks.
I used to have a perm which just made life easier. I didnt realise then how much curl I had but i had more hair so I think it pulled it down.
One side wont curl s much as the other. 🤪
The struggle is real. 🥰🤣

BlueLimes · 13/02/2026 11:27

@Doglover73 i think we need a lovely new edit.

I’ve been using the Lisa Eldridge mascara - love it! Doesn’t smudge or clump. I’ll swap between this and Hourglass (which is more a va va voom look imo).

I have just finished the LE mascara and am very sad - I absolutely loved it. Daren’t look to see how much a replacement would be and also have some in my stash to use before I can justify a new purchase … 😫

bigdecisionstomake · 30/03/2026 21:54

The other product I’ve really loved and have nearly used up is the Gisou lip oil. I nearly gifted it due to the colour but actually it is so sheer it gives me that just kissed look and I’ve had several compliments on it.

It’s £29 in SNK. But if a 20% offer plus double points like recently - would be nearer £22-23? (Make up maths..)!.

When we received the calendar I put away the Phlur one for my sister and thought I would do the same with the Debaser. I actually had a sniff of the Debaser and love it. It's quite a refined scent, more evening than day wear for me but I surprised myself in liking it.

Oh me too - I want a miracle!

A true miracle for frizzy hair is the Isana 13 in 1 leave in conditioner.

I kid you not, it completely transformed my daughter's hair type from a frizzy mess you couldn't comb through to lovely soft lock. It's really amazing and I never hear it mentioned by anyone. We discovered it by accident

BlueLimes · 31/03/2026 11:41

@XelaM thank you - I’ll take a look. Mines only frizzy with weather (which at the moment is pretty much all the time 😩

Seahorses12 · 31/03/2026 14:40

On the frizzy curly hair front I've just invested in a few Kerastase Curl Manifesto products (shampoo, hair masque and conditioner) after testing trial sizes first from ebay. It has made a massive difference, my first day curls now last 3-4 days after a wash, even in shit weather. I actually quite like my hair now!

Doglover73 · 31/03/2026 18:59

@Seahorses12
Oh ill look at that. My hair is so dry. Id ordered milk whip mousse off amazon this morning but its just been cancelled. I may look at allbeauty as they stocked milk stuff. My hair dresser uses it.
Where did you get the keratosis from? X

Doglover73 · 01/04/2026 08:44

I ordered some milkshake hair stuff of all beauty last night but will look out for this 🥰
