It's weirdly silent on here this morning! I am very happy with this morning's treasure, a beautiful Hour Glass lipstick in shade Sahara. I have never worn this colour so I look forward to trying it out. It's easy to get stuck wearing the same shades, so it's great to have this opportunity to explore new colours.

It’s the first proper day of the holidays for us hence a bit of a slower start! Love today’s lipstick; it reminds me of a limited edition MAC lipstick I had many years ago which was much loved and which I haven’t been able to replace.

Lovely looking lipstick but I don’t think the colour’s for me, sadly. Hourglass is always a brand I’m interested in but for one reason or another I’ve only ever had their stuff from Advents and somehow it’s always in the wrong colours for me!

This is a DoD for me due to the colour. I already have it in Flora and love that shade. I'm not sure how popular today's shade will be. There are loads on eBay.

Sadly the colour will not suit me at all and I do t think I know anyone with a warm enough tone it would suit. The shower oil, omg! Amazing I loved it. I basically smelt like a snack, 10/10 🧁

I'm not at home and haven't seen it yet, but I can tell from the picture and the Space NK site that's a no for me.

I've had the Hourglass concealer before and that was fantastic, but I'll never wear this.

I found straight on the lipstick was too much for me but with a bit of balm before and after it became very wearable.

I've been after a rusty red lipstick so this is perfect. Prefer a longer wear matte but very comfortable and probably more modern.

I’m not a fan of the shade of lipstick, which is a shame because it’s usually my favourite item in an advent.

I have loved the calendar, so won’t complain

Oh I also don't like the colour, it pulls too warm for me and will make my teeth look yellow. 😭 Oh well, they can't please everyone but I wonder if they are trying to get rid of particular shades, a more neutral shade would have been better I think.

I wore the Hour Glass lipstick today and I was surprised how lovely it looked on. I will definitely continue to use it. On me it's a soft subtle red, I have slighlty warm colouring and am brunette. I've done very well from all the lip products and most of the make up so far. The only thing that has gone to waste is the CT wand, the colour was too dark but maybe in the summer it will get some use when I've got a tan.

I haven’t tried the lipstick yet but seems like I’m one of the lucky ones as ChatGPT says it will suit me so I should keep it haha

I loved the AB cream we got last year too.

This was the only thing left that I remembered we were getting - I rather assumed it was going to be Christmas day.

I’m a little bit on the fence about this one - I’ve tried a few AB products and never been impressed, particularly the moisturiser and have always thought they’re overpriced. But this does get very good reviews so I’m definitely happy to try.

Were there any stand out bits or things you recommend from the Harrods?

Im stalking the Liberty BAC thread as I’m a beauty drop aficionado and have loved that calendar in the past but feel like i dodged a bullet there!

I’ve had this once before and my skin looked great whilst I was using it. I just couldn’t justify the price for a repeat purchase, but really pleased to have another to use!

I’ve had both space nk and liberty this year, and whilst liberty is still lovely, there’s really no contest. Space NK has so many more full sizes, much better value in my opinion and has felt like more of a luxury.
