No, a lip oil focuses on hydration, whereas a lip gloss is more visual. Lip glosses tend to be thicker, shinier and can be sticky, lip oils tend to be quite light and thin (you don't need much) and not sticky, but still looks glossy. Much better for this time of year if you get dry, chapped lips 😊

I had todays item in my hands for about 30 seconds before 12 year old DD claimed it. She is absolutely delighted with todays lipoil!

Lip liner? I didn’t get a liner, only a Gisou lip product

Look again - I thought it was only one product until i looked here!! It was tucked to one side quite hidden.

I've put both the liner and the oil on like an influencer suggested on an opening video and look quite silly. Got a video call in a bit 😂

I don't expect the lip oil to have any colour payoff. I assume they paired it with the lip liner to be used together, so the lip oil will be applied after the lips are filled in with the lip liner.

This is what I have done and it looks quite good. The little brush at the bottom of the lip liner is very useful for this purpose

I sold the lip oil as I didn’t think the colour would suit me, I also have loads of lip products on the go at the moment!!

I'm delighted with today's double offering. I love lip products and couldn't use yesterday's due to its lanolin content.

Is the Gisou lip oil nice?

I've seen these in the Space NK stores when I was looking at the Gisou hair perfumes, I have seen a few these oils pop up for sale online.

Happy with the Gisou lip oil. I got one in another AC and have been using it since. Ive been really enjoying it.
I thought i was missing a product when everyone else was talking about a liner, had to go look again🤣 Also happy with the liner too!

I am not crazy about lip products to be honest, but today's gloss is best out of the 3. I don't want to put lip-gloss on my lips that smells or tastes like candy either, as it makes me crave sweets so the yesterday is no go. Today's gloss is really nicer and isn't as sweet. I don't really have much use for red lip liner.

I am very happy with the advent so far but with so many products - it's inevitable some won't appal

Yes - and the one underneath in case it fell through but didn’t want to check more because I don’t want spoilers!

I also didn't get a liner 😱 I thought maybe I'd sold it so I was cursing myself this morning as I've been looking to buy one. But I couldn't remember packaging one up so I've checked through my vinted sales and it's not showing on there 🤦🏻‍♀️ Has anyone ever had any success with missing items from SNK? I once got a refund from Harrods for a missing eyeshadow stick in 2023, they wouldn't send me the item.

I did try the lip oil and I like it - the colour isn't as bright as it looks and it doesn't dry out and go sticky. I'm going to have a hell of a lot of lip stuff to get through 😂

That’s super kind of you - I will contact them first and see if they can send it and I’ll mention a few on this thread are in the same situation. If they refuse that would be amazing!

I'm nervous about the colour of the lip oil - I'm not a red lip kind of person. Is anyone who is keeping it brave enough to put some on and post a photo?

I know I could swatch on my hand but don't want to open it in case I won't use it and could sell it or pass it on.

The lip oil is very sheer, barely a hint of pink to it. Definitely not the scary red it looks in the bottle. I tried it thinking I’d give it to my daughter if it was too dark but it’s very subtle so I’m keeping it 😁

I wore both today and they were very nice! things like that just don’t last on me long so I looked great when I left the house and a mess by the time I got to work 😬

Finally home and able to check if I did get a lip liner as well. Success! It was tucked away in the side of the drawer. Question though - is the lid supposed to be all scuffed up with the gold scratched off? I can’t tell if it’s a (silly) style choice or just badly treated.

My lid has got the 'distressed' look too!
I thought I might have damaged it just by touching it, but on closer inspection a litle bit of the lid which looks like dripping paint is clearly meant to be like that.

Oh to have a job where your role is to decide whether to have a distressed lid or not (and probably add an extra tenner onto the cost for the privilege!)
