I have been curious about this brand and despite the sickly scent and glitter i quite like today’s offering. It feels moisturising and not as sticky as other lip balms/glosses that I’ve had. It will definitely get used which is a win in my books!

My lip balm either has no glitter or it’s so subtle it’s invisible.

@Housewife2010 I'll check the brand out. I opened a perfume from them in the perfume advent calendar and it's not bad. Is the boy brow similar to the refy product we had the other day?

I had a look at mine next to the window and I think it might have some tiny glitter but it's barely noticeable. It just looks clear to me.

Maybe it's the emperor's new glittery lip balm. 😋

I haven't tried the Refy yet. I use the Boy Brow in brown and it's great for subtle definition. I love their Fleur scent too. Doux is nice. Their Skin tints are very sheer but great for the summer. The Stretch Concealer is something I always have - great for under eyes as it isn't drying or cakey at all.

I wouldn’t say that today’s is sparkly so much as giving a slightly frosted appearance. Very 90s!

@Housewife2010 Doux was in the advent calendar! 😊 I haven't actually used it, but I sprayed it a bit and it's not bad. The skin tints sound great.

I often hear that the Glossier Balms are good, never used it before so willing to give it ago! I have a bag full of lip products, so not opening until i use some of them up!

I've been using the perfumes as I've been opening them and I really like Doux, it's gorgeous 😍

I'll try it tomorrow. Do you have the perfume calendar? Is there a separate thread for it ?

I bought the perfume calendar but Frankensteined it up: I sold 6 fragrances and I also bought the Harvey Nicks fragrance calendar and sold some out of that one too. I then mixed them both up and did a winter FAC (SNK) and a summer FAC (hn) that I'll open at Easter. I also bought some of the fragrances from Harrods 2024 fragrance calendar and added in those too. So it's a right mish mash. But I did keep you Doux in there 😁

@BabyPigeon83 oh and I've also not seen a separate thread for it. I just talk about my FAC openings on the scent of the day thread as I've been wearing whichever one I open on the day 😊

Oh wow, that's a nice way to do it to avoid disappointment. I missed out of the Harrods one this year but I hope to get it next year. I think I would have liked it more than Space NK...

Ah, the product that seemed to be in every other calendar this year: Gissou Lip Oil. Bit odd they decided to put it in the day after a lip balm.

Have to agree sadly!! I liked the rare beauty one from last year but I just haven’t gotten through it much

Also not sure about this drawer. Admittedly haven’t given this week much thought as work has been manic and on a train before 7am. I did manage to use every single product from the previous week on Sunday and love them all. Today and yesterday have been a bit meh.

I agree that it’s weird timing to have two lip things in a row. Not sure I’ll use the lip liner but I’ll definitely try the lip oil. It’s my work Christmas party tonight so maybe I’ll make a bit of an effort!

Today and yesterday seem a little disappointing but I think that’s because we were so spoilt up until now.

I think if they’d done yesterday & today as one drawer, we’d have been impressed at the value. As two separate days, one after the other, it’s a bit of a comedown after the previous week. We are spoilt!

Morning all. I am actually happy with today's drawer, I love the colour of the lip oil and have never tried Gisou. I'm pleased with the red Kosas lip liner too as I needed a new one (my current one from Kiko is ancient).

I adore the Vieve lip oils and never tried any from a different brand so I’m looking forward to trying this actually!

I may try the lip oil if I can get some idea of the colour before I open it, but the pencil is no use to me.

Is lip oil what we used to call lip gloss?
