Ooo I am loving today’s! It’s ’skin reset face serum’ by Emma Lewisham. I’ve just googled and I am hoping it transforms my face 🤣 I’ve ran out of serum so will try this tonight! Lovely box too, and big at 30ml. RRP £85! (Although £76.50 just now in Liberty)

A much more impressive treat today (and yeah, the packaging helps - no more white tubes!) I’m currently using the ABader one from the Beauty Drop but it’s only tiny so this’ll move in v shortly.

TragicMuse · 03/12/2025 07:36

I’m v pleased with this! My serum ran out this morning so it’s perfect timing! I always wear an SPF anyway but helpful to have that info highlighted @Netaporter.

How does the pump work?

Really happy!

What a great day, this was one of the products I was looking forward to. I am using a repurchased Dr sebagh rose from last years advent ( which is amazing!) but look forward to trying this when that runs out. Favourite drawer so far!

countdowntonap · 02/12/2025 22:17

@Seagullstopitnow what are your holy grail shampoo and conditioner?
I’ve repurchased M&G cleansing shampoo and the Dizziak shampoo/conditioner after trying them in the beauty drops.

It's the Maria Nila head and heal, I'm no longer a frizzy birds nest! 🥳
I was very impressed by the Dizziak too, I used it on holiday and my hair behaved itself all week! It didn't strip the colour either.
It's the thing I love the most about the calendars and boxes, I would never have even heard of these brands otherwise 🥰

Loved that rose serum from last year! I also immediately repurchased from Vinted!

Seagullstopitnow · 03/12/2025 07:45

I only recently opened thebl rose serum from last year and I love it!
Looking forward to trying today's one!

TreesinthePark · 03/12/2025 07:46

I'm pleased with this one. I have their vitamin C from a Liberty kit in the bathroom too and probably used it once (no particular reason just have others I reach for more). This is my reminder to give it another go!

redluckycat · 03/12/2025 07:49

I’m very happy with today’s serum!

It’s one that I won’t use straight away because I want to finish the serum and ceramide capsules that I’m using at the moment first, but that will give me a chance to test the cleanser first.

Happy to help. I raise the 97 lipsticks to my insane amount of skincare 😂

To use the product, place the jar on a flat surface, place your thumbs on either side of the central hole in the centre of the purple disc at the outer edges. Push down firmly. The product should come through the central hole as a measured dose. This is one pump. Two pushes is 2 pumps etc. it is recommended 1-2 pumps for this product. (Note:it may take more than one push for the initial dose when the product is brand new). Avoid the eye area with this product.

once you think it is empty, I always break open the top to check there isn’t any left inside that can’t get through via the pump.

TragicMuse · 03/12/2025 07:54

Great, thanks @Netaporter! Looking forward to using it later tonight.

Just a reminder to check the symbol on the product indicating how long you can use the product once opened to avoid irritating the skin. Unfortunately vit c is the product most tricky to remain stable. It’s efficacy is reduced the minute it is exposed to oxygen so it’s always best to try and use them consistently once opened until finished unless the product is in an airtight delivery mechanism like today’s product or as a capsule.

I loved that rose serum too. Fantastic to use with a gua sha tool or facial massager ( I have the sarah chapman one).

Buster27 · 03/12/2025 07:57

Ooh today's looks fab. I won't be using straight away so I'm looking forward to hearing others reviews!

I think its been open a month or two. I periodically go through my bathroom vanity and get rid of anything that's old or just doesn't work for me.

I used to find Ren products were very quick to spoil so avoided them all together.

TriciaMcMillan · 03/12/2025 08:24

Late check-in, as this week has been a whirlwind at work. Day 3 definitely my best so far, love the drama of the packaging and hoping it truly is as 'genuinely revolutionary' as it claims! My skin is keen for a pre Christmas reset.

narniabusiness · 03/12/2025 08:59

I tend to avoid Vitamin C (and retinol) products as my skin doesn’t seem to like them, so I’m not sure about this one, although I agree it’s a great drawer for most people. I might put it to one side and see if anyone fancies doing a swap once we’ve opened all the calendar.
Value update £127 so far. I am doing a prorata value for sizes that aren’t for sale unless they are very tiny ( and hopefully we won’t get any of those).

TheFutureIs · 03/12/2025 09:15

I’m excited to try the serum. Adored the Dr Sebagh in last years, still ekeing out the last of it. The before and after pics from this one are impressive!

msmillicentcat · 03/12/2025 10:09

Very happy with this one! I had another of her serums from a recent kit and loved it. I’m currently using an omorovicza serum which I’m loving but I only just opened it so it might be a while before I try this. But great drawer today!

WhatAmIsupposeToDoNow · 03/12/2025 10:12

@Netaporter that's very useful. I just opened mine as well and was wondering when to start using it. Not sure I will do it twice a day though. Good product. No chance I would try something like that if it wasn't for the calendar

jay55 · 03/12/2025 10:29

Happy with this, what a hefty size.

Doubletroubledoubled · 03/12/2025 10:37

I’m taking a new approach this year - rather than being sensible and not opening things straightaway I’m giving everything a try. The perfume from Monday has been worn everyday and it’s grown on me a lot. The cleanser I’ve put to one side as I’ve already got two different ones on the go - both fairly expensive ones, so common sense has prevailed
Today’s serum seems good so far. I like its dispenser and although it could just be wishful thinking on my part my skin seems more glowy than it does after using my current cheap and cheerful Ulay one

Hicupping · 03/12/2025 10:41

Good value item I tried it for a few weeks and it didn't do anything for me. Wasn't hydrating or soothing and my skin started to look cloggier though this might not be to blame. You can argue I need to use it longer so I may try again or use on my hands. Ingredients look good.

WhatAmIsupposeToDoNow · 03/12/2025 11:19

@Doubletroubledoubled - do you wear perfume at home as well? I'm currently in maternity leave so seems to be a bit if a waste. But I certainly want to enjoy the products, it's a treat for myself so might as well
