If you have swapped out any doors, you can either skip a day here or just tell us what you have swapped in and why!

As is ‘usual’ on these threads, please try to avoid revealing each day’s contents before 7am UK time.

Wow, this is sweeter than Vanilla Impulse circa 1995! Will be giving away I think.

I tested it on card as on my way to the gym and didn’t want to stink out the room with strong scent - but will try on my skin later now you’ve said it’s sweet on you.

It does remind me of vanilla impulse!! Shame no box for it again. My mascara was pretty dry and clumpy, could still put it on but more like one that's been open for a long time with not much liquid, will message...

Good morning, I've mentioned that I tried most of the perfumes when my calendar first arrived. I was in love with this one...so in love that I bought one on Vinted that I've been using for months as I didn't want to 'ruin' my calendar! A 25ml bottle is quite big though so not sure I need a spare, its sweet enough that my mum may take it off my hands.

My mascara is batch LL2, I wouldn't have said its clumpy though. I'd have said that the tube is tiny and there's just F all product that would fit in with the huge wand/brush. It's like its empty but the tiny bit of product that does come out is ok so I'm really not sure tbh.

Oh I love this perfume! A nice change from my usual clean or citrus scents I wear. And yes probably similar to vanilla impulse, maybe that’s why it’s giving me some happy nostalgia here :) I’ll be interested to see how it settles on the skin. Good size bottle. Very happy today.

Maybe it is than it's empty with barely any liquid rather than clumpy as I wiped it on back on my hand first and there was no product but 1 clump at the end of the wand! I think the mascara is a dod - tight not to be a full size and negative reflection of the brand.

Not much luck with eye pencil Im rubbish with putting it on and then it smudged quite a lot on me despite saying it's waterproof.

Morning! Not 100% sure on today’s perfume, it’s quite strong and I think a bit masculine? Can’t decide what it smells of other than an overpowering perfume counter 🤣 I’ll see how it settles as the day goes on though. It’s Granado Esplendor, great sized bottle so will last for ages

i have emailed CS about my mascara also. Barely any useable product as it is so dry. Will await a response. Plus I have received better mascara sizes in gwp!
i have sneaky feeling that I am allergic to the curry shampoo. It has had a good effect on my hair, but scalp has reacted in small bumps and itchy. I have used quite a few Davines products with no reaction, so not 100% certain. Defo allergy to something.

Today's is not for me. The only perfume I have liked is Vyrao. TBH the rest are all a bit strong and samey, however it's likely to be my unsophisticated tastes :)
I have also emailed cs, regarding the mascara (it's rubbish, dry & empty). I have also complained that the TM lip tint makes my lips feel sore & dry.
The rest of the calendar I have in the main enjoyed.

The more I look at it the more the size is offending me! It's 1/5 of the full size version!! - £4 but guessing the brush is same size!?

The size is almost comical!

@Primrosespaw I also didn't get on with the shampoo. It seemed ok at first, and my hair liked it, but my scalp also started to get itchy, bumpy, flakey and very sore. The same happened to DH too so we used it up as shower gel. It didn't occur to me that it could be an allergy as this does happen sometimes with some shampoos, but it's possible that I'm sensitive to one of the ingredients (I do have a lot of allergies).

The mascara is ok, but the tube too small for the brush so a bit messy to use and I don’t think there is much product inside. Won’t be buying it based on this sample.
I like this calendar because it’s an opportunity to give different products a decent try, so in particular skin care and hair products are welcome. I’m a bit annoyed by so many perfumes since a single squirt in the perfume hall will tell me if I like them or not, and I tend to find one I like and stick to it for a while. I expect I’ll be putting these in my teenage daughters’ stockings.
Today’s one is really sweet and sickly. I liked the Liberty one, but have no interest in the rest.
I also liked the lipstick and the eyeliner.

I'm really happy with the Granado perfume. I do have a lot of vanilla perfumes so I'll have to give it a more thorough test when I feel like wearing vanilla (probably in the spring) but I'll enjoy this bottle. I like to do perfume play-offs where I'll wear one on each wrist to compare throughout the day then decide the winner. Does anyone else do this or am I the only weirdo? Ps. I only do this for similar scents where I'm trying to decide which one I like best!

It’s funny how a few of us find today’s sweet and others find it masculine! I know it’s unisex but there’s no way my DH would wear it, it’s very sweet and vanilla. It reminds me of Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille which I’ve seen people rave about on this site in the past, and a couple of others (maybe ghost, though I haven’t smelt that for 20+ years).

I used the shampoo this morning. I didn’t smell curry and had no reaction to it either. I was pleasantly surprised by the scent after expecting it to smell like curry! It’s a thousand times nicer than one of the Aveda ranges I tried years ago, that had an awful earthy smell - so bad that I can still remember it! Not sure on the benefits without a matching conditioner.

Would anybody be able to PM me and let me know if there is a conditioner in the advent calendar?

I love the perfume today. I do like a sweet scent. So far I love 3/5, with the first two not being to my taste.
my mascara is ok but I can see what people say about it seeming empty, looks like it will all be gone within a week.
I don’t smell curry with the shampoo! It is not what I would normally buy- price or scent, but it has made my naturally curly hair very smooth. I didn’t want to like it as much as I do!

I haven't checked my mascara yet. If it had been the only product in the drawer I would have thought it rather stingy, but to me it was a bonus and the £24 Lisa Eldridge eyeliner was the main event.

Clumpy dried up mascara and yet another god awful perfume. So disappointed in this calendar. Not one single thing I'd even consider buying again so far. A poor advert for both Liberty and these brands.

Funny I really thought this was a masculine sort of sandalwood scent on me this morning -so much so that I insisted DH try it in case he loved it (extra pressie then!). He said no no far too sweet (?!) and definitely feminine. How odd is that -I smell it as masculine -and love it btw- and he smells it as sweet and feminine. Guess I keep it then 😁

I sprayed this perfume just now and it’s horrible-sweet and sickly. I’m sort of bored of the perfumes now 😂

I’m loving this calendar! I’ve been enjoying using lots of products that I wouldn’t have bought for myself, it feels really pampering in the run up to Christmas. But as said before, I knew I’d love it, as I checked the contents before my DH bought it for me.

Going to be sent a replacement mascara so fingers crossed this one is better

I sprayed the perfume on and DH has just told me I stink!! I think it’s gross and would be very happy to swap with anyone - preferably for the Zephredrine???? If anyone’s keen?

V keen to try out the LE eye pencil as I have 2 VB ones which I love but find they smudge under my eye - is there a way to apply?

Agree the mascara is so tiny it’s a bit nuts but it’s a nice add-on and perfect for a weekend away.

Im loving this AC and I’m opening M&S and Arran as well but Liberty is usually the social one.
