Hi, if you have the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar or are just interested in what’s inside, then please feel free to join in by posting your thoughts on each day’s contents.

If you have swapped out any doors, you can either skip a day here or just tell us what you have swapped in and why!

As is ‘usual’ on these threads, please try to avoid revealing each day’s contents before 7am UK time.

@moormumI personally think you’re in for some treats! Think the calendar is amazing value for what is in it!

IlovePond · 07/12/2025 15:30

Hi, I sold on today’s perfume via eBay for peanuts when I first got the calendar as I had had a trial spray of it in Liberty before buying the calendar. On me it smelled like toilet cleaner - really horrid! (I don’t really think niche perfumes are ‘my thing’, but I keep trying!)

No response from Liberty to my second email, btw, so I will chase up tomorrow if I still haven’t heard back.

It's quite funny when I bought the calender I wasn't bothered either way by perfume but it's my newest obsession so I'm thrilled! Husband did accuse me of swapping the drawers around when I got another one this morning! Zepherine is easily my favourite of the 3

SunnyPinkMoose · 07/12/2025 17:08

Zepherine is my fav so far . No probs with the lipstick and is sheer .

TheFutureIs · 07/12/2025 17:15

Kept smelling a really beautiful scent on someone when I was out earlier, then I realised it was me!

Housewife2010 · 07/12/2025 18:21

The number of perfumes in this year's calendar was one of the reasons why I chose it. Luxury AC's are so expensive that I'd never buy one without checking the contents first. I really appreciate how the contents are revealed even earlier each year. After deciding on one, I avoid the spoilers, so most days are now a surprise.

Same.

I’m grateful that beauty advent calendars are transparent about what they contain full stop, because there are advent calendars linked to my hobby costing between £100-150 and the companies do not share any of the contents at all, and also don’t send any out until they’re sold out so there is no way of checking the contents before purchasing - there are no unboxing videos on YT due to this. And they’re contents that won’t appeal to all tastes. Needless to say I’ve never bought one.

NatalieNatalieNatalie · 07/12/2025 19:32

Today’s is the first miss for me. Lemons make me sick! Would anyone like to swap either of the other perfumes for it?

WhatAmIsupposeToDoNow · 07/12/2025 21:27

Love today's perfume. Much better for me than Day 1. Haven't tried day 4 yet as had to switch it with Day 10 (ran out of that particular product and didn't want to buy new one). Even Day 1 is ok but only after a while of having it sprayed on

AlPaccacino · 08/12/2025 00:34

I quite liked today’s. Shows how subjective fragrance is? I’ve already managed to lose the lipstick. No idea where I put it down. Never mind, I have another eleventy hundred anyway. Grin

Circularmadness · 08/12/2025 06:34

Really pleased with today’s door and an excellent score on the Yukka app, unlike the serum 😞

Caramelandsalt · 08/12/2025 07:13

@Doglover73
I'm going to make sure I fill in my note book in the new year . I'm maybe going to wear a fragrance a week to get a better idea .

Love this, this is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for in the calendar. The eye cream by the same brand in last years calendar was amazing so I’ve got high hopes! A good day today ( obv could have been bigger but it’s v expensive!)

ETA what’s the Yuka app and what was bad about the serum

Yuka scans for any potentially harmful chemicals in a product - this was the serums results 😬

On a lighter note today’s cream was rated excellent

Oh this looks great and I need a new moisturiser! Todays is MZ Skin The Rich Moisturiser (10ml), pro rated value is £33 for that size. Lovely packaging too. Will try this out tonight 🥰

I’ve just smothered myself in the moisturiser, it feels lovely.

Pinkwineandpinksofa · 08/12/2025 07:45

My husband has just bought me a cup of tea and my calendar drawer in bed. He has bought me no.18 not number 8, but I have only just realised,
now I’m annoyed I can’t read this thread for a day as I don’t want any spoilers!

imp2007 · 08/12/2025 07:57

I'm really happy with todays - as somebody else said the eye cream from the same brand last year was lovely and I'm in dire need of moisturiser down to the last scrapings in my current jar. @Pinkwineandpinksofa that's hilarious - lovely thought though!!! He must have looked with man eyes lol!!! 👀

redluckycat · 08/12/2025 08:08

I’m very happy with today’s as I have dry skin which could do with a boost in this weather. I’m going to start using it straight away until it’s used up. as it’s only small.

I’ve been using the cleanser and find it a bit drying, even though it’s supposed to be hydrating. So hopefully it will counteract that.

The ingredient in the serum which give it its poor score appears to be benzyl salicylate, which Google says is in lots of cosmetics, fragrances, soaps, shampoos, sunscreens and detergents. It can cause skin reactions in some individuals. I’m not going to worry about it unless I have a reaction.

Ilikeyoursleeves · 08/12/2025 08:15

@Pinkwineandpinksofa I nearly did the same! To be fair to your DH these drawers are tricky to read, tell him the torch on the phone trick 🤣

narniabusiness · 08/12/2025 08:24

I’m very pleased with this. Very usable and a good travel size ( just need to book that holiday!). Value to date is now £240.

shinny · 08/12/2025 08:37

Lovey item today - I got it a year or so ago in another BAC and my DD was most impressed when she spotted it. I believe it’s made by a Dr.

EdinaMonsoon · 08/12/2025 09:26

Looking forward to trying this moisturiser today although I can't decide whether to use it all now (assuming it agrees with my skin) or to save it for a trip in January. My usual moisturiser is not cutting it right now which is strange as it's always worked well for me. My skin is really struggling with the seasonal mix of cold weather and over-heated indoor spaces.

msmillicentcat · 08/12/2025 09:37

Pleased with this - although only a small amount so will save for travel otherwise it will begone in a few days!
