Love the dress - was hoping for velvet, though had wondered about a velvet cloak, given the discussion upthread about furs.

The earrings are ones she’s worn before. Cartier diamond chandeliers, originally made for Dame Margaret Greville.

We were in Budapest a couple of years ago. A lot were in furs and there was a furrier near our hotel. Was a bit surprised.

Lovely colour on Catherine and fabulous earrings. There is a cute photo of her being presented with flowers and the little girls in the image are obviously thrilled. So sweet.

Thanks, @Indianrollerbird , that's great. As well as the beautiful Cartier earrings, she's wearing a bracelet which belonged to Queen Mary. I'm glad the jewels are coming out of the vault and being worn!

I agree! It's usually the Cambridge Lovers Knot, isn't it? She has worn the Lotus Flower as well. I'd like to see her in the Vladimir or one of the Kokoshniks.
