A nice article in Tatler about Flora Vesterberg's lockdown wedding and church blessing. We've seen the pictures before, but she looks beautiful. Very romantic and appropriate for her name! She wore Princess Alexandra's tiara.

I think Julia Ogilvy's dress is lovely,, and the Edinburghs look good.

The royals on their way to the Buckingham Palace Christmas lunch. Not much to see but Kate's wearing the Alessandra Rich dress she wore when she was on that Mary Berry Christmas baking show some years ago.

I’m always amazed that the royals drive themselves to the lunch rather than being driven. I’d be wanting a glass or 5 of fizz and vino and can’t drink and drive. So obviously 🍷 isn’t as important to them for celebrating as it is for me. Got my festive lunch on Friday and I most definitely won’t be driving myself.

Im sure they have nosecco available! I had my entire nuclear family with me last weekend...it was lovely.
I wonder if the royals have a massive long table and silver service or a buffet. I like a buffet and a bit of mingling .

I had nosecco once. Twas vile. I’d rather stick to water or more likely getting a cab.

I'm sure there are plenty of close protection drivers who could ferry them home, but perhaps they just aren't drinkers. I doubt the POW and family just jump in an uber 🤣

I had a few glasses at a friend's last Christmas. The headache the following morning was unbelievable.

I know we always see them driving in...maybe someone else drives them home? Or designated driver is decided in advance.

Nosecco is the absolute worst non-alcoholic fizz. It has a very high sugar content. Noughty is better.

OK...perhaps a selection of alcohol free soft drinks are available . Or at lunchtime maybe only water so they can reign in the afternoon.
