I'm not sure about the cut/fit? In some pictures it looks better than others. However, she's looking great with the loose tousled hair and lovely smile.

The check is nice, but as per usual with db jackets, there isn't much tailoring of the shape for a female torso. The androgynous, loose cut pairs well with the check design, but that effect is lost on a woman with Sophie's curves.

Yes, I think you have to be careful with that cut. We've seen her in some lovely dresses recently

It does swamp her a bit. But she looks well and over the jet lag. Im sure most of the washing is done and just a lot of ironing to do!

Perhaps it was all being done when she was in Oxford 😊

Edward has been in Nigeria and Ghana since the 17th November so they haven’t seen each other since Nov 10th. I think he gets back today / tomorrow. They really are workhorses these days doing a lot of the overseas work.

I haven't seen pictures of him in Nigeria and Ghana.

Maybe Sophie is wearing double breasted to feel closer to Edward 😂

A tiara in the wild! Spain is having a state visit from Germany. Leti’s dress is a bit dull but looks good on her but the tiara and hair is 😍. I actually prefer the German lady’s dress as I love the colour.

Edited to add that it’s Queen Ena’s Cartier Pearl Tiara. Never heard of Queen Ena but I know and like Cartier!

Queen Ena was, IIRC, the last queen of Spain before they became a Republic. She was also queen Victoria's granddaughter and Felipe's... great-grandmother?

Yes, as Deftly says, Queen Ena was the last Queen of Spain before the Republic. She was actually Princess Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg, daughter of Prince Henry of Battenberg and Princess Beatrice, daughter of Queen Victoria. Ena was actually born at Balmoral.

She looks lovely and so happy. H should have married her would probably have been a different story tho I recall reading that she didn’t want to enter into the royal circus hence why they finished.

Leti’s hair, make up and tiara are gorgeous! The dress is a little bit meh but it suits the occasion. Felipe looking perfect as usual. I think it might be to do with the way he stands as well as his excellent tailor.
Are the Germans doing the rounds with state visits as they will be doing the one here shortly 🤔

l rather like Letizia's dress. I like a square neckline that covers the shoulders properly and doesn't expose acres of cleavage. She doesn't seem to believe that a simple dress is an excuse to go big on jewellery though. Some long pearl cuff bracelets would have been fab.

I like Leti’s dress style but would prefer a different colour rather than funereal black.

She often wears very pared back jewellery and I think for a long time she stopped wearing her wedding and engagement rings. Here she seems to have a wedding ring on her index finger.

I don't hate Sophie’s suit that much - she could look better but it’s not THAT bad. She’d probably get more publicity if it was!

Sophie in that suit. It’s managed to make her look squat and wide. Awful. She needs a makeover.
