@BakeOffRewatchout of those 5, I love 2, like 1 and actively dislike 2 😂 I like diptyque generally and this set is a good variety of different notes. I think if there were any you disliked, you could easily sell them on. Or perhaps you could sample them in store first if you didn’t want to take the risk.

BakeOffRewatch · 16/12/2025 12:35

Thanks @paristotokyo . Can I ask which is which for you please?

paristotokyo · 16/12/2025 13:04

Fleur de peau - disliked because its wayyyy too powdery/musky for me.
Do Son - disliked as I don’t like jasmine or turberous. My SIL absolutely loves it though and it’s her signature scent
Orpheon - liked but wouldn’t purchase this as it’s a bit too powdery for me. It’s a clean type of scent. Soapy fragrances aren’t my favourite but it was pleasant to try. I like the juniper and tonka bean edge.
Eau Rose - love. Not your usual jammy rose type of scent. It’s fresh and green. Like they included the scent of the stem and leaves too.
Philosykos - Love and is one of my favourites. Again a very fresh green and realistic fig, like the scent of the whole fig tree and not just the fruit. I think that’s really on brand for this fragrance house. They do that whole ‘quiet luxury’ thing. Their scents are not obvious and brash, they’re more subtle.
Just to add I absolutely hated eau papier, it made me gag 😂 but it’s a very popular one. And I also really love eau duelle, if you’d like to smell a different spin on the usual vanillas out there.

Sorry forgot to tag you in my post below @BakeOffRewatch

@HolidayHattie It’s a really pretty scent. By the way, let me know if you’d still like Room Service and I’ll pop it in the post to you.

PM'd you.

OvaHere · 16/12/2025 18:53

@BakeOffRewatch unlike @paristotokyo I love Fleur de Peau and bought a full bottle. I've not disliked any I've smelt though, I sniffed them all in SNK the other week.

Glad you liked it, enjoy your new fragrance! Fragrance is so subjective, I guess that’s what makes it so interesting.

Sote was tobacco vanille. Used up a sample I had. I love this. It’s very strong and long lasting and I remember I used to really like this. Great cold weather scent. Spicy chai with vanilla. Lovely. Would never rp due to the price and lots of dupes and similar frags exist

HolidayHattie · 17/12/2025 06:08

Those of you who sell your extras, how do you package them to get through the post safely? I have one small (8ml) tube to send. Will a small padded envelope with a bit of extra bubble wrap be ok?

MiaN · 17/12/2025 06:13

Xerjoff Lira for me today. I love this

paristotokyo · 17/12/2025 06:26

Testing sample of replica lazy Sunday morning. This isn’t my type of scent at all. I’ll maybe use this up as a linen spray or something. It’s in the space nk advent so I’ll be getting my relative to sell this straight on before it gets to me. There’s another I’ll be selling on that’s in there too.

I really want to try this as it sounds like something I’ll probably fall in love with. Havent managed to find a store close by where I could test it. Does the citrus stick around?

MiaN · 17/12/2025 06:49

Its very different to anything I have smelled including devotion. Xerjoff perfumes are complex and not easy to describe - it smells gormandish without being like cake. Its not safe blind buy at all. I have so many citrus perfumes and this while having some doesn't fit in that category - its not fresh. Yes some of that stays

If its unboxed I put it in bubble wrap and then some card around it, or re use a draw from advent calendar, then a padded envelope. Boxed, I just wrap in bubble wrap and padded envelope. More is more with these things!

Matiere premiere crystal saffron. Having a saffron moment. Oud for greatness maybe later.

Lazy Sunday morning was a scrubber. Just not my vibe. Using jazz club instead. I’m in that smokey deep type of mood lately as we’ve had some weather to match. Like this even though it’s a touch too masculine leaning but I will use up the small sample. I prefer by the fireplace by a long way though which I’ll be rp.

Drawer from an advent. Oh what a good idea. 😍

Lurkingshark · 17/12/2025 08:33

echo @OvaHere @BakeOffRewatch in that most of them are well done scents. I dislike Papier and it’s a nice set if you have vouchers. I really like Tam Dao and Eau Capitale.

Im a double bubble wrap person.

Replica did a nice 3x10ml autumn scent kit last year- jazz club, by the fireplace and coffee break.
SOTD is flora danica again. I got another one ( and a sandalwood temple @JoRaRaRa 🫣) off vinted cheap. God bless oversupply of fragrance advents this year!

QueefofSheena · 17/12/2025 11:57

I’m wearing By the Fireplace again. I’m going to use up the little bottle and decide whether to keep the FS I have

RoseTeaLady · 17/12/2025 13:37

Turn the Page (Flora Danica) today. I was unsure at first, as I get a hint of bitterness on spraying (think that’s the green notes?) But dry down is a soft powdery musk. Very nice indeed. This one’s a keeper.

IDontHateRainbows · 17/12/2025 16:52

Good Girl blush today. Wasn't sure about this when I tried it earlier in the year, but it's a grower. I think it's the patchouli I was unsure of, but I'm getting a bit more into patchouli now. Not my favourite of the flankers but I do like this range and as such felt like I should try it. I just wish they'd bring the supreme back.

I liked the replica set but found coffee break to be weak as anything. Maybe it's just me, I'm probably nose blind after spraying so much of everything all the time. I enjoy replica scents but they are not top tier for me. Favourites are afternoon delight, jazz club, and suprisingly From the Garden which may just be the one that got me into patchouli. I never find they are particularly long lasting though.

Kayali Chocolate Oud today. Like this a lot, it felt sort of Christmassy and it lasts a decent amount of time.

MiaN · 18/12/2025 07:48

Zara Vetiver Pamplemousse - It's the only Zara I kept. They were great at the start, when I was trying to figure out what I like but I don't shop for perfumes in Zara anymore. This is very realistic grapefruit, supper juicy bitter and fresh - very short lived but I really enjoy it And it appears my not wanting to wear winter scents continues.

IDontHateRainbows · 18/12/2025 07:50

BDK velvet tonka today. Fell in love with this last year, but whilst I still like it, it's not quite as i remembered. Nice but a bit OTT and cloying. Definitely not one for the office so I will scrub it off before leaving for work and replace with something a bit more office friendly.
