Sote is radical essence paradoxe. Love this in winter, so deep and rich. Would be perfect for a walk in central park.

AMAZED at the glut of fragrance calendars this year from space nk and HN. How did their buyers get it so wrong? Maybe people are buying a lot less this year?

The notes on Fragrantica are totally different, so now I'm confused.

Sales of edits and BACs in general have really slowed this year. Not sure if the fragrance calendars shipped international previously but I feel like a lot of stuff from from Cult Beauty and SNK was maybe going to the US before the tariff situation. Could be the same with other retailers.

Probably domestic reasons too but I get the impression a lot of our beauty sites were popular in the US also.

Green tea again for me. I might pick up the lime and lychee one to try. The coconut one I didn’t enjoy so intrigued to try more flankers.

Harvey Nichol's had nothing over 15ml and that puts some people off. They were in store in Dublin but not available to order. SpaceNK were not in store at all and thier stores are much busier then Harvey Nichol's.

Green Tea definitely have spot on any 100 perfumes to smell list. Ironically I don't remember what it smells like.

Fico di Amalfi for me this morning as I need to walk the dog and need something fresh.

The weather has not been cold enough for me to get my winter spicy vanillas out. I would like one proper cold under 5c temperature week

@paristotokyo Green Tea Lotus is lovely, really refreshing in hot weather.

My sold the last 3 days was Vilhelm Dear Polly sample. Was ok but only lasted a few hours, so the last bit will be used as bin spray. Each time i sear one now i look on frangrantica to help me decide what i love,like or hate. I will find something for today later 😍

I’d love to try! It’s probably a touch too floral for my liking based on the notes though. Wish they did a discovery set with mini samples of the different ones to try.

I’m wearing Dedcool Taunt again today. It’s nice but I’m a bit vanilla’d out, there’s been so many recently with AC and edits. I may use it for bedtime

I finally unboxed HN fragrance this morning that I got on discount. It's better than I thought despite all smaller sizes. Nothing in it I dislike apart from Aventus and I don't dislike that really it's just in the man category for me so it's gone in DS's advent.

I really like the Granado one. Seems a bit like Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. All their scents I've tried seem like good dupes for more famous ones.

Was expecting to stick a few on Vinted but have ended up keeping all bar 2 that are repeats for me.

So SOTD is a mish mash of all the stuff I've sprayed on myself.

I had the Perfume Society mystery box delivered today. Currently wearing Floris Honey Oud and it is scrumptious. The honey really tones down the oud and lots of dank rose coming out after an hour of wearing. The 10ml is FloralStreet Black Lotus which I’m happy about. Never met a scent from this brand that I don’t like. No major loves, but pleasant to wear. I have a couple of FB’s like the Vanilla Espresso and the Arizona Bloom.

Babylon for me today, I have not used it this winter year. Actually I have a lot of vanilla that I love, different types - so I can't really say I don't like vanilla. There are just some that I don't, which is pretty normal

@MiaNshe’s a glossier you type of gal. She’s a minimalist who favours comfort. She doesn’t do sugary or loud. She doesn’t follow trends, she knows what works for her. She’s comfortable in her skin, and ‘you’ reflects this as it’s warm, musky and a little ambiguous.

My ambre vanille arrived, and happy to report they have not changed the formula. The 100ml bottle is so ugly. It is not cheap perfume - they could have done better job with it. It's very coconut & almondy to me - I am happy to have full bottle and it does remind me of the bumbum cream. I discovered it in SpaceNK 2023 fragrance advent and didn't love it at first, I only started wearing it at bed time to use it up.

And now - I smell like mess with some Babylon, some lingering velvet aura on my top, and vanille ambre. I am going to need a shower and fresh start after my not so "barely there" scented dog walk. Take it easy with the perfumes all - don't do it like me this morning.

SOTD Tales of Amber by Goldfield & Banks. Not sure about this one yet but I'll let it settle down.

I think so, my American SIL used to buy beauty advent /afternoon tea stuff and gift sets from Liberty, SpaceNK and other British brands every year, not this year though because of the tarriffs. She can’t be the only one.

I’m in Scotland and this is the first year I’ve not had some form of BAC/sample set, due to prices. I’ve just bought a load of new winter clothes, perfume and books for myself - an expensive novelty beauty item was not justifiable this year.

Yes! My DH and I just do a few cheap useful presents for each other, small hobby stuff mainly. Its fun and easy.

I buy myself the stuff I really want 😈 and he gets to be pleased he can get away with not having to think too hard about presents.

This year I got myself some Liberty perfume, a pair of boots, a couple of expensive books and some lovely warm clothes (North of Scotland, its baltic up here).

Edit to add - Today I’m wearing Chanel CoCo. One I only wear at home as I love it but I don’t want it on my ‘wearing out clothes’ as most people detest it and its soooo strong.
