I stupidly dyed my hair last week. Its a 32 wash colour apparently but it is way way too dark and the colour isn;t shifting after 8 washes so far..

Will using colourb4 ruin the condition of my hair? Its already very dry since Im peri menopausal

Try washing up liquid or a clarifying shampoo.leave it on for about 10 mins and rinse and condition.

Ive been washing with washing up liquid and it isn;t shifting. I will leave it on for longer though

I think its very harsh so wont do your hair any favours at all, keep washing it will fade eventually.

Do you have the brand/link to the hair dye you purchased? It depends if it had any peroxide in it/if it lifted your base at all.

It will likely come out very warm but it does mean you can start over.

I've decided against it. My hair is naturally fairly dark brown but has had balayage in it for many years. I stupidly dyed it "dark brown" and it was WAY too dark - practically black in some lights. It looked lovely and shiny but the colour was wrong.

Ive now washed it in a mixture of head and shoulders, washing up liquid and a bit of bicarb. It feels like straw but it's stripped some off so it's slightly lighter.

The colour was just a Casting Creme gloss, supposed to last for up to 32 shampoos. No ammonia

Effervescent vitamin c tablets crushed in with shampoo and left on for a while really strip colour well.
