Also tempted but have just done a big Asos order (when I stop spending in one area, it comes out in another!). In my defence, one of the items was a blanket scarf reduced to £3.79 so it would have been rude not to!

I think this is my last lot for Jan. As I've been going, I've estimated the value of my empties to give me a bit of a reality check. It's easy to spend the money and have products for months/years untouched, not realising I'm probably sat amongst thousands of pounds worth of products. The total for Jan comes to £347. I dont include samples.

22. Byoma face mist. Great budget mist, use before and after my hydrating serum. Works well. I have another in stash, but just ordered a Dermalogica one to try.

23. Golden Pear shower gel. Smelled like nail polish remover in the bottle, so it didn't make a good first impression. In the shower, it had a lovely pear drop scent. It filled my whole bathroom with the scent for hours. Would rp.

24. Ouai Hair oil. Lovely product, leaves my hair silky soft, doesnt weigh my hair down when i style it and gives a nice shine without looking greasy. I just dont like the strong floral scent. No RP.

25. 111Skin Recovery Mask. Really hydrating, and in the morning my skin looked plump and refreshed. It wasn't too thick in texture, so it was comfortable on the skin. Moving on to a Laneige one next.

26. Tatcha Indigo Repair Cream sample. Got 3 nights' worth from the sachet. It's very nice, as I find all Tatcha products to be. I would rather splurge on the Dewy Cream than this, as I'm happy with an unglamorous night cream.

Is there a way to check my last empties post. I did one a week or so ago, maybe longer.
I cant remember how many I did. Although I could guess around 12 😃😄

Hello everyone. I’ve had a very successful using stuff up on holiday. I took away things that I was hopeful of finishing and I did.

Trigwell Cosmetics Halo Hold Setting Mist 50ml. Not sure if this actually did anything.

Avene Eau Thermale 50ml. I like this and use it regularly. Have two more in the stash.

Avon Moisturising Face Cream SPF30 50ml. Cut this open to scoop out every last drop to use on my legs. Lovely scent, would RP but not needed atm.

Skinny Tan Protect & Glow SPF30 100ml. Another beauty box inclusion, which I probably wouldn’t have picked up, however I do like it and will RP.

Hello Sunday The Take Out One Invisible Sun Stick 30g. This was in a beauty box. Was fine, but I used it up within about 5 days. I expected it to last longer. Would not RP.

Rodial Vit C Brightening Cleanser 20g. This was lovely. Would RP.

Murad City Skin Age Defence Broad Spectrum SPF50 50ml. I like this and it suits my fair skin. However, I do have loads of facial sunscreen, so no need to RP at this point.

Origins Plantscription Multi-Powered Youth Serum 15ml. Lovely, beautifully absorbed. Would definitely RP.

Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins 15ml. Just like the Youth Serum, happily RP.

Dr Paw Paw 4 in 1 Face Serum 5ml. It was fine. Probably would not RP.

Temple Spa In the Beginning Deep Cleansing Melt 7g. I love Temple Spa products and would happily RP

Grown Alchemist Age Repair Intensive Moisturiser 12ml – Beauty box purchase. I have very dry skin, but this was too thick for me. Took ages to absorb. Would not repurchase. It's not in the photo for some odd reason.

I haven’t emptied, but “rearranged” two perfume dregs… One is Ginger Picante by Guerlain (lovely, fresh, spicy) and the other was Vanilla Blossom by Monotheme. I spritzed them both onto my wrist and loved the combo, so I decanted all into a 30ml travel bottle and now I have a new perfume and two empty bottles to get rid of. The new fragrance is lovely for spritzing over my stinky, sweaty work uniform.

How did you find the sunstick?
I thought it may be irritating so havent used it x

A few outs for me:

• The White Company Fireside votive. Love this and would happily re-buy if I wasn't drowning in scented candles.
• Jo Loves Black Cashmeran & Tonka votive. I liked this too but don't need any more candles.
• Olverum Firming Body Moisturiser 30ml. I got this on Vinted when I was stocking up on MZ Skin items. I actually really like it and would consider rebuying.
• Costa Brazil Kaya Jungle Firming Oil 30ml. Another Vinted purchase when I was buying MZ Skin. I really love this, even more than the Mirror Water, but don't need to re-buy yet as I have several small Mirror Waters in the stash...
• JVN Intense Hydration Mask 15ml. This was really good, I would re-buy when I need more intensive conditioner.
• Sephora Collection Resurfacing Body Lotion 200ml. I liked this a lot and might re-buy but I'm not sure if I prefer Ameliorate. I also realised that I never recorded this when I bought it so using it up doesn't actually help my numbers go down 😭

I also used up a lip gloss:

• Rimmel Oh My Gloss Butter! Me Up lip butter balm 001 Latte Delight. Very nice but I replaced it with the Summer Fridays lip butter balm and that is so much better!

I have a few more things that I hope will be used up soon.

Empty (ish) lip balm - Ted Baker in a little pot. I keep this in the bathroom so that I am
sure I have clean fingers when I put it on. Knocked it into a dusty corner today, open and upside down. Bleurgh. Binning for hygiene reasons. I had used 3/4 of it and have eleventy million other lip balms so no great loss!

I really liked it. My only issue was how quickly it got used it x

Using up holiday products part 2

Nivea Hydro Care SPF15 Lip Balm 5.5g. Finally finished a lip Balm! Whoop. This is probably my favourite Nivea balm, but I have tons more in the stash which will probably take several years to use up, I wont RP anytime soon.

Listerine Total Care Mouth Wash 95ml. Favourite mouth wash. Would RP

Johnsons Baby Oil 100ml. Perfect for getting rid of my HRT patch marks. Need to RP.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm 30g. I love this. I was gifted some at Christmas as everyone knows how much I love it.

Grown Alchemist Age Repair Regeneration Night Cream 12ml. Did not like. Too thick.

I've just purchased a few of these Fwee silicone lip brushes - they're really good for lip balms in pots.

Philip Kingsley elastizicer hair treatment- was quite nice but doubt I would actually buy it

Mirror Water oil- got this in the Liberty AC in Dec, it made my skin feel lovely, quite absorbent but I didn’t like the smell (I think it’s meant to be fragrance free but it smelled of cardboard to me!). Wouldn’t buy this esp as it’s £27 for a small bottle!

M&S Apothecary shower gel ‘revitalise’. Did the job but not an amazing scent or anything

Here are my latest empties and thoughts:
✨ Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo: This lasted me ages as I don’t use dry shampoo that often. It’s fine, but after trying some more expensive ones (and picking them up in sales), I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing this for a while.

✨ Give Me Heat Protection Spray: Really nice, smells gorgeous and like holidays. Will definitely repurchase.

✨ Innersense Leave in Conditioner: I kept 2 of these from the CB edit. It smells amazing and leaves my hair soft with less frizz. Very happy with this one. I would repurchase but I've got a few others to get through first.

✨ Sam McKnight Nourishing Balm: I have so many similar products that I kept forgetting to use this. I did like it when I remembered, but probably wouldn’t repurchase.

✨ Eve Lom Cleansing Balm: My absolute fave 😍 Already have quite a few tubs to get through!

✨ Omorovicza Body Serum: I really enjoyed using this, but full price is expensive and I’m not sure it’s worth it.

✨ Augustinus Bader The Body Cream: Again, very nice, but not worth the full size price for me. I'd rather spend the money on face creams and makeup.

✨ Shiseido Benefiance Moisturiser: Picked this up in a JL edit. I really like it, but I have so many moisturisers to get through first. Would consider repurchasing in the future.

A few empties:

Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner - 150ml. Love this, one of my favourite hydrating toners. Have another in the stash.

Marc Jacobs Perfect perfume mini. A bit thin and screechy for me.

Larry King A Social Life for Your Hair finishing cream - 30ml. Silly name, good product. It’s really thick so I only needed a tiny bit and had to use it on damp hair, but it did a great job on frizz and flyaways.

Bath & Body Works Bright Christmas Morning hand cream - 30ml. A good formula but there are lots of just as good but cheaper hand creams out there.

Lush Sleepy body lotion - 95g. My bedtime hand cream. Love this scent, so comforting.

Lush Mystery Inc shower gel - 120g. Scent was a slightly odd mix of florals and Lotus Biscoff, which somehow managed to smell really nice.

Forgot the body lotion - Farmona Warm Caramel body butter, 200ml. Got this super cheap from Notino and wasn’t expecting much, but it was actually really good. Super thick but applied easily and sunk in quickly. Smelled of cinnamon rather than caramel.

Some more empties from me that I keep forgetting to post -
Zelens z22 face oil was super rich and very welcome on my skin at this time of year, I was using it at night in addition to moisturiser. It is very nourishing feeling one, I'd RP.
Also enjoyed using the Cowshed Salt scrub (no label), this was lovely, but think it's discontinued so can't rp. Am trying an Espa one next, I love a manual body scrub.
Macrene Neck cream from a net-a-porter advent calendar ages ago - not a proper empty but I can't get the rest out and I wasn't ever going to rp as it is really expensive and not a product that really interests me hugely.
Skin Rocks Cream Cleanser - this is fine, a very basic cream cleanser, I wouldn't buy it for it's retail price though. I've had 2 in edits or advents and they've been used but not with much joy.
Elemis Dynamic resurfacing cleanser - Lovely balm cleanser with exfoliating bits in. Feels like a sensory treat to use every day. When I've run down my cleanser supply I'll repurchase this one.
Dr Teals bath salts - really nice, these were a joke christmas present but they smell lush, not at all spliff-like.
First Aid Beauty Dewy Moisturiser - Very similar to the Laneige water bank cream. Light/ no scent, feels plumping and hydrating. I like this but have since discovered Tatcha Dewy Cream and I prefer that despite the strong scent.
Kate Somerville Exfolikate - My skin tolerates this pretty well, but I wouldn't use it more than 1/2 times a week so it took me forever to use. And I have a full unopened one from a GWP still. Am moving on to Good Genes for a bit to break up the monotony.
Chantecaille Rose Tint - Love this stuff, wish it was cheaper. This is a staple for me so I had a replacement already waiting in the stash.
So plus previous empties that's 12 total for '26 - more in than out so far but the year is still young!

Lip balm empty - Caudalie Lip Conditioner with Shea Butter. I liked this, would RP if I didn’t have a zillion other balms!

Oh forgot to mention the Neom sleep spray - I'm not really a fan of sleep sprays generally ( insomniac - if only a spritz could fix!) but I loved this. Mainly just used at work and it is very soothing.

A sort of empty - broke my sample size Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt in my bag, luckily had used most of it so the bag doesn’t even smell!

I did like it and may RP when I have worked my way through many samples to pick a fave or two!

I used up 2 serum sachets - Sunday Riley A+ and Augustinus Bader. I got 3 applications from each one. I wasn’t that struck by either. Nice but not OMG TOTES AMAZE!

Yesterday I finished my Trinny BFF SPF. Would rp if I didn’t have so many alternatives in my stash.

Went on to an Erborian CC Dull Correct mini this morning. It feels nice and has SPF25 which is fine for grey days, but I’m not sure if the tint is right for me.

I also have 2 ancient lip balms which I need to ditch. They smell a bit…musty? But I’m not too bothered by the loss, they’ve been lurking for YEARS! And I have 7 of my preferred Blistex in my stash.
