Some more empties

  1. Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Hand Cream - really nice, but won't RP as I have so many more hand creams to use up.
  2. No7 The Full 360 mascara - goes on really nicely, but again won't RP as I have so many.
  3. White Coconut Discover perfume from M&S- I have a penchant for coconut smellies and I have already bought 2 more of these for my stash.
  4. Suqqu Aquafons - I didn't rate this at all, actually felt drying on my skin
  5. Estee Lauder mascara -really good for my rubbish lashes, already RP
  6. L'Occitaine Cherry Blossom hand cream - I didn't finish this, I found it quite greasy

it’s interesting that you say that as I used it for the first time yesterday and thought the same. It’s marketed as hydrating!
OvaHere · 06/02/2026 10:25

@LightandBreezy I feel the same way about the Skin Rocks cleanser. if anyone does really like it the Boot No 7 Future Renew Peptide Cleanser is very similar and more often on offer.

Also love the Chantecaille Rose tint.

Caggie09 · 06/02/2026 16:13

Perfume samples. Tom Ford Cafe Rose. Nah. Kayali Vanilla. Have full size. Not my fave vanilla perfume.

  1. Lush Posh Choc body scrub. Smells like brownie batter, so yummy. Great sugar scrub, I have one in backup. Love it.

  2. Cattier pink clay mask. Got this on a trip to France years ago. I also have the green one. This is my favourite. Gentle for my sensitive skin, and feels really clean and fresh after using. Will repurchase at some point. Really affordable too.

  3. BeautyPro Blemish Mask. Only bought this to hit the spend for free delivery. Always bonus points when a sheet mask isn't soaking wet. It was nice enough, probably wouldn't buy again.

  4. Batiste Dry Shampoo. Liked this scent, does the job. Moved onto a Ouai one

Empty time!

Nothing exciting except for the rose water hydrolate from Nacomi. Great for a spritz pick me up, lightly scented. A delight. Would rp. Heavy vaporisation though.

Some baby perfume in the spray bottle. Typical Spanish.

Lacura mighty shampoo. Was ok. Can’t compare to the original but it wasn’t great either.

Cosmic bath bubbles. My dd used this. Fab smell but not great bubbles.

garnier apricot shampoo. I love this. Reminds me of my childhood. Will rp. Gentle on hair.

Hotel collection aldi white petals. Very orangey. Loved it.

This weeks empties

Elf Jelly Pop Cleansing Balm - This is basically their Holy Hydration Balm in a different tub with added candy scent. Like HH it's a decent balm that removes make up well. It does blur the eyes a little sometimes if using to remove mascara but not majorly. It's only a 2oz product though so whilst £11 seems affordable it doesn't last long. Paying more for a larger product such as Elemis on a QVC deal probably works out cheaper per gram.

Vanilla Powder 1.5 ml perfume sample - had this hanging around for ages with a few sprays left so made myself use it up. One of my favourite scents last year and I have travel size still to use.

Sisley Intense Nutrition Hair Mask - Not the same one from the Liberty BD, got this one as a sample from somewhere. It was fine but didn't wow me.

Laneige Cream Skin Mist - From SNK advent, I really liked this which surprised me as I've previously used a mini of the cream skin toner and didn't like that one. They kind of look the same so not sure what the difference is. Would consider a purchase.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray - Was fine but not one I'd buy.

Charlotte Tilbury Push Up Lashes mini - This would be great if it smudged less on me. If I set my concealer very carefully it sometimes would be okay but a lot of the time I ended up with panda eyes. Sadly not a RP because it looked good otherwise.

More G&S eye masks - see previous posts. Nice enough, still have a few more to use up as I've been a bit slack remembering to put them on recently.

Mediheal Rose PDRN mask - Very nice, I liked this a lot - good hydration. Bought a box a while back so have more to use.

Champneys eye patches - from a Boots xmas gift box. Shockingly bad, these were awful. Not even going to bother using up the 2 face masks and other eye mask. Scent was nasty and they were very slimy.

@OvaHere Im really enjoying the Laniege mist too. I did look it up, and it does seem to be the same as the toner. I have bought a travel size of the toner, just to refill the mist.

Interesting. Maybe the delivery system made a difference then and it worked better as a spray.

My empties this week:

Dove deodorant- I buy this all the time although I’m now using Sure which does the job too.

Jo Malone Poppy & Barley body lotion. Lovely scent and would probably buy it if I didn’t have so much body lotions and perfumes.

Molton Brown Rhubarb and Rose hand cream. Sinks in well, not oily or anything but quite a sharp scent and not really my thing. Wouldn’t buy it (this was from an AC a few years ago)

MZ skin moisturiser, I liked this and have another one on the go already that I got from Vinted!

Oh I also finished my Scottish Fine Soaps Sea Kelp hand cream which is one of my favourite scents, I really love it. Only not buying it just now cos I’ve so many hand creams and body creams to get through! Threw it out before remembering to take a photo but this is it:

14/100

Elasticizer - I quite like this, not enough to buy it but I don’t hate it turning up. Pleased to have finished this massive tub.

omorovicza mud mask - glad it’s done, slogged through it, not convinced it did anything positive

codage conditioner- love this, found in French hotels usually

mirror water - lovely! Great product, I’d be happy to see it again.

rituals night hand mask - love the aromatherapy scent, a possible rebuy when I get through my hand creams

I’m going to have to chuck a lipstick thing. It feels really thick on my lips and is very drying. It’s been lurking in my work bag but I just don’t like it.

I think bin is where it needs to go!!

AndeanFlamingo · 08/02/2026 10:36

I've had a good amount of empties this week:

  1. Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum 3ml.

This was fine, did the job. I have other exfoliants in stash so no need to rebuy.

  1. Triple Dry anti-perspirant.

This was good. Triple Dry is one of a number of brands I tend to buy but currently have a Sanex in the stash.

  1. No 7 Protect & Perfect night cream 25ml.

I got this in the MacMillan advent calendar. It's ok but nothing special, a bit too gloopy for the level of moisturisation it gave. Won't rebuy.

  1. Kew Sandalwood & Pink Pepper bar soap.

This is a really hard soap that I've had for several years. The scent went a long time ago and it just didn't foam up any more, not even a tiny bit, so the remnants went in the bin. I was glad to see it go!

  • Boots Ingredients Squalane Cleanser 50ml.

This is nice enough. Would be happy enough to reuse but it's not a rebuy.

  • Botanics All Bright Glow Daycream SPF15.

Not that keen. Quite gloopy so not a rebuy.

Also had some cosmetics used up/got rid of:

  • Nails Inc Chelsea Bridge UV Top Coat Nail Polish.

Had gone all gloopy so binned.

  • Nails Inc Catwalk Calling Nail Polish.
  • Nails Inc All In The Strut Nail Polish.
  • Nails Inc Already Trending Nail Polish.
  • Claire’s Sorbet Coral Matte Nail Polish.
  • Zoya Armor Top Coat Nail Polish.
  • Claire’s 28856 Nail Polish.

These feel a bit like cheating as I'm only getting rid because I now use Manucurist Green Flash gel. But I won't be sorry to not use these again, regular nail polish is no match for me and always chips/flakes within a few hours.

  • CND Vinylux Gel-Like Effect Long Wear Top Coat.

Not long wear at all, in fact made no difference whatsoever. Again, I've replaced nail polishes with Manucurist Green Flash (there may be a few more lurking somewhere still).

  • Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray 30ml. UU.

I liked this but already had a Lumene one in the stash from the advent calendar so trying that now. I don't think it's much different so would probably prefer to rebuy the Lumene in future.

Minnie123456 · 08/02/2026 11:29

First empties of 2026 🎉
Orange bath bombs x2- had lost their scent, not very exciting.
Eye therapy collagen and green tea eye mask- I liked these, they didn't slide off my face, not 100% sure they did anything.
S&G sheet mask- was nice, had a nice grapefruit smell, was very wet though.
H&B toner- this reminded me of a toner I used to use in highschool, was quite drying on my skin not a rp for me.
Benecos bio oatly hand cream- didn't like this, hated the scent.
Ouai body cleanser, St Barts- I've seen so many people rave about this on tik tok so I was looking forward to use it. I didn't like it, I didn't like the scent and it didn't lather well, not a rp.
Cosrx snail mucin- I liked this, I have already rp although I'm not sure if they have changed the formula as it feels a little different.
Spacemask interstellar relaxation eyemask- these heated up on your eyes, don't think I would rp.
The Ordinary multi-peptide lash and brow serum- not sure if it did anything, I just used on my eyebrows, might rp to try again.
Batiste sensitive scalp dry shampoo- a hg, already rp.
Nivea Q10 gradual tan- smelt amazing, unfortunately it went streaky.

12/100 a good start to the year although I'm now using more full sizes so the rate of empties will slow down

I offered it to the teen who snapped it up!

Two more empties

Frank Body Collagen boost serum, smelt like treacle tart, I prefer no scent but this was surprisingly pleasant once I got over the weirdness. Nice texture, would possibly RP if I didn’t have a few more serums to use up. In the past I’ve bought serums and used sparingly as they are expensive so I have a few to finish up.

Sample size of Estée Lauder revitalizing supreme cream, felt a bit heavy and greasy. I used to be a loyal Estée Lauder customer so have quite a few samples that I kept for travel but not sure my values are aligned with theirs.

@CorneliaStreetI love that Lush cream too 💜

I have an empty to report:
Superdrug Me+ hyaluronic lip balm: really like this - handy to have in bag for on the go.

Few more empties from a weekend away…

Charlotte Mensah oil conditioner- wasn’t really sure about this, didn’t really like the smell and it felt quite heavy. Wouldn’t buy again.

Jo Malone body lotion Lime Basil & Mandarin sample- lovely.

Highland Soap Company lavender body lotion, lovely but lavender isn’t really my scent.

SheilaFentiman · 11/02/2026 13:00

Two empties

The Pantene Hair Biology for fine/coloured hair is my standard conditioner and I already have another tube of it

The Aussie 3 Miracle Oil drops, I like a lot as you can use before or after hair washing for extra conditioning. Not sure they make this exact product any more though! Also have a tube of Amika hair mask I am working through now on a once a week basis.

Slightly late in posting Jan’s empties! Quite pleased with my progress, got rid of lots of half used bits and travel sizes. More out than in at least 🙌
20/100

  1. Tresemme conditioner. I have fine hair and short bob so only used on the ends, lasted far too long. Nice enough tho
  2. Molton Brown Indian Sea Cress x 3 Always have this in use, very conditioning, lovely scent
  3. Korres conditioner. Found in the back of shower, v old so ditched. Seem to remember it being ok
  4. Bramley lemon, mandarin and rosemary shampoo. Smelt lovely, good lather
  5. Label M x2 shine spray, love this & dry shampoo, slightly coloured
  6. PK polishing balm. Like this, have the full size. Lasts for ages
  7. Molton Brown shower gel. Used up the matching moisturiser ages ago. Decent lather
  8. REN shower gel. Nice fresh smell
  9. Pillow spray x2. Sanctuary one from Christmas gift set, liked the scent. This Works, always take these when travelling
  10. Luna eyebrow gel. Ditching, dried up, never used
  11. Benefit roller lash mascara. Liked the brush on this, went on well
  12. Elizabeth Arden 8 hour hand cream. Really moisturising, always have a tube on the go
  13. Molton Brown fiery pink pepper hand cream. Found in old handbag so finished up. Very moisturising and nice scent
  14. Gucci gorgeous gardenia. My daily office perfume before WFH. Have replacement already
  15. L’occitaine cherry blossom mini body lotion. Smells great but v difficult to get out the bottle!
  16. Nip + Fab salicylic fix facial scrub. Used this occasionally, very gentle and unscented

Yep, they look lovely but highly impractical! I have quite a few to battle through 😬

Experiment627 · 14/02/2026 08:31

Good morning! I have 2 empties to report:

  1. Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop blurring skin tint: I find it really hard to find a foundation that sits well on my skin. This was ok. Have a bottle of a Rimmel one to use up next. BUT I will chuck if it is as bad as I remember it being!
  2. Eau Thermale Avene: would not normally buy this - was a gift. I do get that this is probably better for my skin that the stuff that comes out of the tap in north London but the cost!
