I threw out almost all of my foundations and cushions. They were all old and I didn’t love any of them. I hate the feel of anything on my face - they’re either heavy, drying or greasy and I wonder why I held onto them for so long. (Some had definitely evolved.) Meanwhile, I kept what was left of my fave Fenty Body Sauce (I use it on my face), and found an unopened one! I kept one cushion, which is new, and I love that too. (Plus, it’s super pretty. See photo below.) I gave my twins all of the shampoo & conditioner that has been lurking in my bathroom unused. Winning! The very sad news is my one empty (also below) the now discontinued Woody Blanche edition of HAIR+ Protein Bond Water Essence… I have repurchased a different “flavour” (peach) which is nice, but not AS nice.

I had a moment of joy in the stash. I’ve experimented with chatGPT as a style aide (better than expected). A dark green eyeliner was recommended for my grey-green eyes. I inputted hourglass as a favourite brand and a product was found.
On I popped to Liberty to get it and before pressing the button I thought I’d search the stash….. there it was, a lovely new unused hourglass eyeliner in forest green.
Absolutely no idea why I hadn’t used it, assume it got lost…. go stash!

Such a nice feeling when you find something in your stash you truly want. 🤩
Annoying when you buy something, use it, then find a hidden one in a drawer. 😒🤩🤷

Two empties! Though annoyingly the angle
on the last little bit left in the 200ml body lotion makes it look full 😀

Blossom and Bloom body lotion - 200ml from an M&S box at some point. Perfectly fine but I have plenty of body lotion/oil so no need to RP.

L’occitane almond shower oil - again fine, from a gift set, lots of these little ones to use up so no RP yet.

M+S has 20% off all beauty and perfumes. I was in store AND I RESISTED!

(though I did carry around a Skincare edit in a silver bag for five minutes before I talked myself into putting it down)

Another empty this morning, Medik8 CTetra, love this and have rp a few times. I have quite a few others in the stash so have chosen skin rocks antioxidant to use next. Never used it before.

Are there any spare medals? I had knee surgery this week and was half-heartedly looking at offers online yesterday through a fug of morphine. I got to the 'place order' stage and somehow managed to pause and close the browser. Normally by that point I'd just place the order and then regret it later.

Pleased and a bit shocked at myself.

I was in John Lewis the other day and found myself picking up a beauty box type thing that was in their sale, £70 of luxury goodies worth way more than that. I had a glance at the contents, nearly bought it but had a word with myself and put it back!! 💪🙌🏼🥳

I’m also now getting a bit of a buzz when I finish a product, I used up another little shower gel this morning and I’m near the end of a few more things. Will post a photo of my empties over the weekend!

You’re all killing it!

I’m away this weekend and have saved a few minis and sachets to take and use up. I’m really looking forward to that as well as seeing family and having fun.

I have another four empties, taking me up to 9/100. I am blatantly cheating and using small sizes for the psychological boost of finishing stuff and making a dent in the stash. It's fun!

No photos as I chuck when finished but I have used up the following:

1. By Killian, Angel's Share - this is a big love, it's gorgeous and I got a 7.5ml for Christmas. Wish it weren't so expensive!
2. Replica, Under the Stars - not a huge fan of this. Got a discovery kit and some are lovely but not this. I'm not a huge fan of leather.
3. 111 Skin Rose Quartz exfoliating mask - I mean, it was okay, did the job. Grainy. But a pretty standard physical exfoliator. Not worth the money IMO.
4. Juliette Has a Gun, Vanilla Vibes - wearing the last of this sample today. It's spicy enough for winter and has warmth but it's also salty, sunny and beachy for summer, Very upbeat. I really like this a lot.

Long time lurker here, finally getting a grip on using up my stash!
Accompanying Mr Penguin are the following:

1. Nivea Cellular Dark Spot moisturiser - not good for my face, made it a bit sore.

2.Sisley Black Rose skin infusion cream - really nice, I used it as a moisturiser.

1. Zelens face cream - really nice
2. Charlotte Mensah hair pomade- really good product but had quite a strong smell. Binning as it's out of date.
3. Charlotte Mensah hair oil - really good product but again had a strong smell. Binning as it's out of date.
4. Sample perfume from Saltworks.
5. Votary face tanning drops - really good for dark days and have another one to use in the stash.
6. Vaseline Coca Butter - nice will RP
7. Vaseline Emily In Paris - Rouge Romance. Using this coincided with me getting a bad episode of incredibly sore lips, so I have binned it just in case there are some nasties in the ingredients.

That's it for now but I'll have more empties to post soon.
