The Banila Co is top 3 for me along with Tatcha and Elemis. I like the pink one and I have the Ceramide one to try next. Helps that it's more affordable too.

CorneliaStreet · 26/01/2026 21:46

Another fan of the Banila cleansing balm here. I’ve got one of the pink version in the stash but I’ve got both the Heimish All Clean balm and the Anua heartleaf cleansing oil on the go at the moment, so won’t get back to the Banila for ages.

user593 · 26/01/2026 21:54

Another empty, Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads. I really liked these but have one last tub of Malin & Goetz Resurfacing Glycolic Pads (which now seem to be discontinued!) to use. I might return to the Elemis after that though.

SheilaFentiman · 26/01/2026 22:08

Finished something called Earth Therapeutics triple butter foot balm. A relief to have finished it, it didn’t do much and smelled like toothpaste! I think I got it on holiday in the US at some point.

Have started a new foot cream which smells of herbs - much nicer!

Experiment627 · 27/01/2026 05:54

@AnnaMagnani everything counts!

well done @AlPaccacinoon your clear out!

I have an empty:
Simple hydrating light moisturiser: love this stuff. Not sure why it is called light - I find it rich but sinks in very fast and I use morning and night. I have returned to my beloved Neutrogena multipurpose comfort balm. My skin has gone to shit though cos of the skin conditions I have acquired... I am off to see a specialist in March 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I have a few new empties 💪

Slush Puppies lip balm- this came in a set from Home Bargains and they are brilliant. Glide on and do the job. I actually prefer it to the £65 La Mer lip balm in just got in an AC!! I have a few of them dotted around the house and in bags.

Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede perfume, lovely scent but not sure if I’d buy a whole bottle.

Molton Brown Fiery Pink Pepper shower gel- this is my fave MB scent and I’ve bought it in hand cream and hand soap before, love it.

Davines shampoo that came in the recent Liberty AC- def wouldn’t buy again, it smelled of curry and I don’t think was even that good with my hair!

Ilikeyoursleeves · 27/01/2026 08:01

@Experiment627 I always revert back to Simple products if I’ve ran out of advent calendar skincare, it really does the job well and is a great price too!

Francestein · 27/01/2026 08:38

I love the smell of curry @Ilikeyoursleeves, but not in my hair. You did well to finish that one.

Ilikeyoursleeves · 27/01/2026 10:33

@Francestein yes I only used it so I could finish it and move on, never to be used again! Whoever thought turmeric or whatever is in it is good for a shampoo?! The colour was also terrible, it was like a dark green / brown sludge

SheilaFentiman · 27/01/2026 17:23

Empty - tiny l’occitane cherry blossom body lotion. Didn’t smell of much and hard to get out of container (I used a cotton bud in the end)

3 empties in one evening!

Loreal bonding conditioner. Was ok, not hydrating enough.
Philip kingsley elasticizer booster. Quite nice, wouldn't repurchase as its used on top of conditioner so don't often need it. Have another full size to use
Geek & gorgeous jelly joker. HG second/morning cleanse. Have more in my stash but onto Naturium cleanser from my advent

Doglover73 · 28/01/2026 09:29

@NiceUnusualDifferent
I'm looking forward to trying the naturium cleanser from snk advent. I found the geek and gorgeous cleanser drying. Maybe ill save for summer. 😍

BIossomtoes · 28/01/2026 12:36

Please can I thank whoever here mentioned Red Pepper Pulp. What an absolutely fantastic product. I’m forever in your debt whoever it was.

Basquervill · 28/01/2026 12:56

@Blossomtoes I was wondering about this product! What is it doing for you? Can you share?

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 28/01/2026 13:00

I love the red pepper pulp. Really agrees with my skin.

I love the texture, it’s a light gel but massively moisturising. It makes my skin plump and very soft. I think it’s a holy grail product for me.

Basquervill · 28/01/2026 14:30

@Blossomtoes Thankyou, so it’s just a lovely moisturiser! Ok!

TragicMuse · 28/01/2026 14:40

I had a sachet, it was lovely! I would rebuy when I’ve whittled down everything in my stash.

Really? I have dry skin and love it because it's not drying. Will be interested to see how naturium compares

TragicMuse · 28/01/2026 23:14

Empties update!

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. Binned because it was years old and I haven’t used it for ages.

This Works cleavage and neck serum. Possible repurchase if I didn’t love Trinny Elevator so much. But it has a really strong smell. Not unpleasant but very present.

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Mask Hydrating Gel mini. Made me itch.

Sunday Riley A+ High Dose Retinoid Serum sample sachet. I got 3 uses from the sachet. Not sure what it was doing, probably not a repurchase.

Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. I have another of these in my stash so will use again. It feels gentle.

AnnaMagnani · 28/01/2026 23:39

@TragicMuse I used to love Paula's Choice 2% BHA. It absolutely obliterated my sebaceous filaments.

Sadly I now have dry skin so looking for new HG products.

Experiment627 · 29/01/2026 03:33

@Ilikeyoursleevesthanks for the share. I got the calming gel.

I am considering trying out face tape to try and reduce some quite deep vertical frown lines on my forehead- any recommendations?
