WFH Trousers

What do you wear when working from home that's warm and comfy but still makes you feel reasonably put together? I'm sick of wearing ratty tracksuit bottoms with my nice sweaters on the top! I want something soft and stretchy, with an elasticated waist, but not looking too tracksuity. Any advice?

Cord trousers from Next are my current favourite WFH. They feel like tracksuit trousers, very stretchy, but they look and feel a bit more respectable.

I have a pair of wide leg elasticated trousers from M&S which are great for this. But I also just wear joggers sometimes!

Kuretake · 16/10/2025 09:53

I also do cosy leggings under a dress.

A soft knitted midi skirt. Comfy and warm

Halara are great for comfy and stretchy dressier trousers.

@Kuretake - You need to get in touch with Next and let them know you want commission on the cord trousers!

Kuretake · 16/10/2025 12:15

So happy to see the love for these trousers 😂

Motnight · 16/10/2025 14:47

JohnTheRevelator · 16/10/2025 16:06

I misread this as as WTF trousers 😂

mumonthehill · 16/10/2025 16:24

Next jersey wide leg jeans and their jersey barrel leg jeans. I love them!

HundredMilesAnHour · 17/10/2025 14:19

When I’m wfh I pretty much live in plisse trousers like this:

https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-plisse-wide-trouser-culottes-in-black/prd/206042430#colourWayId-206042440

Super-comfy and very easy to dress up or down. I occasionally wear them into the office too but tend to pull out my genuine Issey Miyake Pleats Please ones for that (the original plisse trousers that ASOS - and everyone else - copies/rips off).

Ooh I love those!

I have them in brown and have just ordered in blue
Really comfy and can wear with trainers, boots etc
So versatile

Motnight · 17/10/2025 18:11

Just got the Next trousers as recommended by @Kuretake. Love them. Ordering different colours. They come up big, which I had guessed from buying some linen trousers from Next earlier this year.
