@MidnightMeltdown Look I've given my opinion, and I'm as entitled to my opinion as anyone else. These threads aren't just to discuss positive things, we can also discuss what we believe to be the negatives (poor value, poor curation, horrible products etc). In my opinion, based on my experience with BACs and these threads in the past (including the opening threads), the BACs and Christmas edits this year are not such amazing value that they justify the quite possibly thousands of pounds some people must have spent and I think some will be disappointed once the shiny wrapping has been discarded and they're left in January with 20 mini fragrances and 15 lip oils cluttering up their house. (ETA - and I know you'll sell them. IDC). That's all. I don't really appreciate the pile-on.

It's a shame they've removed the code for the ASOS advent. I was really tempted, the discount made it amazing value. Away to consider HN beauty with the discount.

@owlpassport - for me you are bringing down the tone of the thread. Most of us have researched our ACs and are confident in our choices. Your negativity - suggesting people will regret their spend, or are wasting money - is off-putting. I'm not sure why other people's decisions are bothering you so much?

Critiquing calendars is fine, and others views have helped me - but let’s just keep the the thread constructive and enjoyable for everyone without judgment.

I do like it but it's probably going to take a lot to push me over the edge into another calendar. So far I've batted off Niche with the big discount, HN with discount, HN fragrance and ASOS with discount. Also not caved on PDM but can't guarantee I won't get that if it's still available in November.

The delivery van driver has just driven down to my door, delivered something to a neighbour, turned round and carried on🙀

It’s definitely my delivery driver as the tracking map also showed him on my tiny street.

Meanwhile, mine is still not due for hours🙈🙈🙈

My DH and I were just saying how ridiculous these routes are - I have thought so before, when following a van’s delivery progress round the streets, but today’s experience takes the biscuit!

I did look on vinted this morning but I totally forget about ebay now. It seemed to be all traders and I prefer people like us selling unwanted bits off. Going to look now 😍♥️

When it does arrive, I am going to check the contents as it’s too expensive to just assume everything is ok.

I don’t usually do this, but hopefully I will have forgotten the order of things by 1/10.

I once had an amazon driver delivering some chocolate, he was one stop from me when suddenly the tracking disappeared and I got a message that it could not be delivered today.
Conclusion: he ate it ( i didn't get it at a later date either).

Not sure dpd men ( and it is usually men tbf) will be interested in our BACs, but you never know!

Mine is also due towards the end of the day.

My HNF has arrived, very happy with it and checked all drawers etc and everything is there and as expected.
With the PDM that will put the PDM advent to rest and hope they do another next year.

@Growlybear83 Thanks for the info on the diptyque calendar on vinted (why won’t my phone let me spell it properly, keeps autocorrecting 😡). I can’t see it on there so think it must have gone. I do really love this year’s though and the books and cats are very me! I’ll keep looking as they’ll probably come up after Christmas

Criticising a calendar is absolutely fine, but that’s not what you were doing. You were basically accusing people of being greedy, buying anything and everything, and overconsumption, which is quite frankly, insulting. You are perfectly entitled to not like a calendar, but that’s entirely different to criticising other people for buying.

HN beauty not for me even with the discount. At one point I was tempted by it but now I can't think why. I do like the Rodial products, and 15ml Le Labo is nice but I haven't tried that scent so too much of a gamble.

Have just checked my order history and I got a scent kit last Nov from Liberty , so I'm hoping they do another , whilst I enjoyed the scent with love edit in the summer , I did prefer the winter edit .
