I did half-heartedly suggest to DH that we went on Saturday, but a ‘small’ sample sale sounds much like the one they had last October. By the time I got there at 1.30 it was empty so I am not sure going on Saturday would be ‘worth it’.

Btw: Where did you see it advertised? I couldn’t see it on the main Toast website.

Ah, thanks @mizu Looks like Toast have fallen back into their old ways with the lack of notice and not putting it on the Toast events page - very odd!

I’ve also just realised - no Kindred gift at all this year, I think. I wonder if they’ve decided to stop them, but to not tell us 🤷‍♀️

@IlovePond I was thinking the same as I used the lovely smal Splatter bowl ,gifted about a year ago, yesterday,
I’m on the way to being un-Kindred because I haven’t bought a single thing this Season with my Kindred account, the boots I bought under a different email account as I had a discount .
I’ve decided that without gifts I’d rather just pay for a Toast pass anyway ,
I loved the randomness of the gifts , favourites were Splatter bowl and socks. Not so over the moon with Christmas wreath and enamel mug!
I did go to one Kindred styling event but don’t fancy going to anything else , the Christmas afternoon and dinner held near me for example sounded far too long and like hard work!

I agree @OftenOrange - it’s such a shame - plus I haven’t really had any Kindred events near me to go to, either and there were quite a few 18 months ago or so.

If they have stopped doing the gifts/nice events, then they should be open about it!

I last posted on these threads under another name - I mostly lurk.

I placed an order today and it's already been despatched, with a Kindred gift included.

I have ordered the card advent calendar. It’s not as nice as previous ones, but I have been wanting one for ages.

As there is a Kindred gift, I didn’t want to risk ordering something I might/probably would have to return for being not right, so thought that was a safe bet.

Oh so If you decide to return the item, you have to return the gift too?

I've ordered some chocolate brown Falke striggings socks last night - hoping they'll be chunky enough to wear with some new brown boots. I only have one pair of chunky socks and they're a bit short for these boots. Just received the despatch email (inc gift)

They offered me the chance to pay £3.99 for a special packaging which I could return for recycling. I already recycle all my packaging by re-usiing - doesn't everyone???

@Carocurls - I don't think it's compulsory to return the gift.

@faustina I wore those Falke socks a lot last winter (the nutmeg colour) with my Blundstones, I hope they work for you too.

@Carocurls - I don’t think you have to return the gift, but I would probably feel a bit guilty. (I had to return my order once during a gift period and have tried to avoid it since.)

That’s why - when a gift is in the offing - I now buy a small item of homeware that I know I will definitely keep.

oh I see what you mean. Thank you. I just don’t know if I’ll like the item I ordered and it’s expensive. That makes sense about ordering something smaller.

Came on to ask @faustina - how are the hand warmers working out? Have you worn them yet? I've been considering buying and think you may have bought some?

I'm another lurker on this thread, and I'm contemplating buying the poncho in the red colour way, I added it to my basket for £170, looked at it and it was discounted to £136, got excited and added a pair of the wide leg jeans which also appeared at a discount. Just as I was about to check out, back to normal price again. Could it be there is about to be a bit of a sale?

@Stoic123 I did buy the brown ones but then it got warm again. It was 17 degrees today and I mowed the grass in a t-shirt - so I haven't really put them through their paces yet!

There was a random EU sale last week. It was all old stuff (archive!) so not very exciting. They seem to be doing separate sales now.
id love to know what the gift is if anyone gets it!

I ordered two things from homeware last night but no sign of a gift on the order..... Is it a certain spend to get the gift? I have qualified for years as on Kindred.

That’s odd @Primrosespaw - is it on your Toast order history? Mine shows up there but not on email confirmation.
