I have started a new thread for all things Toast related !

That’s where I bought my sideline billy trousers from recently @faustina. Good customer service. I got that discount code this morning, but didn’t see anything I wanted. Which is just as well, as I bought the new charcoal mohair batwing cardigan last week, and even with some vouchers and having sold some things, the price was eye watering. But having tried it on, I knew there was no way I could leave it behind. It is totally perfect in my eyes, and I have worn it every day since, apart from today because it is 16 degrees in Edinburgh 🤷‍♀️

@ScottishMouse - I hadn't seen that cardigan before you mentioned it but it's an amazing shape - really lovely!

@ScottishMouse - if it were any other colour I would be, but grey doesn't work on me (luckily for my bank balance)

Phew! Dark grey is one of my fave colours, and I have been looking for an interesting dark grey cardi that will not pill like the cashmere wool ones - bingo!

I went to the local exchange event today determined to rid myself of my 3 tokens that I’ve been carrying around for months. The last few events have been a bit rubbish - and others who were there were saying the same thing - BUT I did manage to pick up a lovely little cardigan, a shirt and a linen dress. So, all good.

it was 6pm and the shop was looking lovely. Some really lovely things, the red jumper that is £££££ is gorgeous.

Oh that sounds like amicus more positive exchange experience than people have reported recently. I found the last one I went to so off-putting that I haven’t been to one since, but perhaps I should try again.
The cardigan really is beautiful. If anyone is thinking about it, I sized up as I found that my usual size just didn’t give the lovely slouchy effect that the online pictures show.

Anyone ordered the black velvet skirt? Just wondering about sizing?

I haven’t but just seen it on Toast live. She said waist was elasticated at back. I think I read a review which said it was small fitting. Really like it though

I really like it as well. I have a similar A-line skirt but its a linen cotton and its definitely a size smaller. I saw it on the live aswell. Its really gorgeous but dry clean only.

@neveradullmoment99 , I ordered it and would say that it is fairly tru to size: I ordered a 12 and it fitted. I am debating whether to keep it or send it back as it doesn’t feel very special on and it isn’t luxurious velvet (which may not be a bad thing).

I have a few cotton velvet items from Toast. I need things to be practical.
I might however wait it out for the sale. Thanks for lettimg me know about size.

Just reporting on the try before you buy service. I ordered 6 items on 30/10. I got an email from Harper but also the usual order and dispatch emails from Toast. I tried on and returned the day after they arrived, though I would have had 5 days to do so. The return was done in the same way as usual. I kept one item, and this morning I have been charged for that.
So all in all it worked well, and I would use it again when ordering quite a few items, knowing that most would go back - for example if wanting to order different sizes or colours in the same item but only intending to keep one.

@ScottishMouse I found it worked well. I sent all my items back on the third day of the five but at the weekend so I wasn’t sure how it would work. I received the refund notice from Toast on the sixth day but I wasn’t charged for anything.

I'd use it again but only if I knew I was going to have time to try items on, sometimes I like a bit longer to think about things.

@ToastCosILoveIt thank you for the discount code. I got the cord shirt/jacket to match the trousers I have. Very pleased with it.

Does anyone have the organic cotton easy sweater? I’ve been contemplating the red fig for ages and then it sold out but the parchment also looks nice. I know it’s oversized but does it wash well. I find it very expensive at £175. But I’m still tempted…

I’m a lurker on this thread as while I love the Toast aesthetic - I can’t do Toast prices.

So they are trying to entice me with a 20% off code - but it’s still just too much for me

@IlovePond I think I’m going to go as I can take a day off or wfh 😁 that day. I haven’t bought anything for ages as been on a strict no spend as much as possible due to pending divorce and starting the process of trying to buy my H out of our flat. I think I’m going to have a day out and possibly meet an old uni friend who lives in Glastonbury. And buy a couple of things at a good price. Kilver Court has had a bit of a revamp so it’ll be good to look around.
