I want the swishy trousers of the youth but what are they?

I’m usually very unfashionable but enjoying wide leg trousers being back in fashion. There’s a particular style of trousers I’ve seen a few younger women/girls wearing, of what looks sort of like tracksuit type trousers but very silky/flowy/swishy.. I don’t want to panic the local teens by asking where they get their clothes so can anyone here tell me what they might be?

Similar but not exactly. Harem pants from the market are what I have been wearing this whole time we were supposed to be in skinny jeans, the ones I’m trying to identify are I think a thicker material and I’m not sure but don’t think they have as low a crotch as harem pants.

i think they did come in at the bottom like harem pants do, although not with a wide cuff in the same way

Far swishier and wider than anything anyone has posted so far, and a bit of a sheen to them, definitely a fire risk if you were standing near a naked flame

Loads at Zara and Mango - wide leg, stretchy waist or drawstring, and some swishy and some jogger material but cut like smart wide-leg trousers.

Check out the villa trousers from Vuori. I got them in America but I think they ship to the UK. I think they were about £110 but they really look nice and they wash beautifully.

Okay, we need to pin down the shape to find these.
Waist- high or low? Elastic or waistband?
Fit over the bum- tight, fitted, loose?
Thighs? Fitted or flowy?
Wide legs- stay wide to the floor, come in a little bit but loose ot the ankles, or have a fitted bottom?
Length- to the floor or to the top of the shoe?

From your descriptions I'm thinking a sort of silky barrel leg trousers, but could be very wrong!
