Help me style this skirt please

Hi I've just bought this skirt from M&S but not sure what to wear it with. The model is wearing it with black which I would rather avoid. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am 5'8, size 10/12 and apple shaped so would prefer not to tuck anything into the waistband.

I like it. I’d probably go with a cream top rather than white - maybe a cream chunky knit - and tan coloured boots.

Thinking about it some more - what would you wear with dark jeans OP? It’s a similar colour spectrum.

It’s a lovely skirt OP, don’t know why some posters are being so harsh.

I don’t like black at all, and I would probably wear this skirt with a pale pink or pale aqua.

The clothes on S&B are usually way out of my budget, but this skirt is affordable and one that I would wear.

I really like it! I would wear it with white, butter yellow, dark grey, demin or a darker navy. I think you could wear with a boxy t shirt, or a vest style with buttons down the front. Deffo mix it up with some wool jumpers, maybe half tucked in? I’d wear some chunky sandals in either a nude colour or metallic. Boots would need to be at least mid calf so you don’t have a gap between the skirt and boot, maybe in a burgundy or brown?

Brown goes nicely too. Love blue and brown together. Very autumn.
