The regulars on the thread mainly discuss luxury BAC and this dies down by September when everyone has purchased and forgotten the contents. Then it goes into discussion on what’s selling out, what hasn’t and what deals and discounts to be had on ACs in the lead up to December. Then in December we move onto AC opening threads!

Well that has really thrown me, there’s only 1 that I know for sure I’ll like - why couldn’t they have released before I went sniff testing yesterday!

Yep that one's sold out faster than harrods! There's only a couple I would have bought it for to be fair, and they will likley appear in the usual places for purchase if needed

No word of warning for unlocked customers very sneaky of selfridges... I've probably just got sour grapes as I missed out (and I think only just as I could go into the listing but then when I tried to put in basket it wouldn't. Now the listing is not there)

Too many masculine scents for me. Liberty advent was mostly unisex/masculine too. Bored of it now. And sold out so that's that sorted. The Dries van Noten would like to try though.

They also released an exclusive jellycat dragon on their website this morning which put the site and app into meltdown for hours

I’ve just been able to order the Selfridges wardrobe, although the website was VERY slow.

Odd. I just tried and it’s letting me add to bag. I have way too many fragrances though so trying to resist this time!

Same, hideously slow but I managed to order one. Fingers crossed it turns up!

I really want it for the Cuir Infrarouge, which I smelt once last year and have been obsessed with since. It’s one I would never have thought I’d like.

I sold Rude Oud, Valaya, and a couple of others I didn’t like, and made the cost of the calendar back! I feel like I’m now justified in buying Harrods hair & body calendar instead 😂. Plan to sell Bromptons too as I don’t like that either. However, I generally prefer more subtle scents, and these are just too loud for me.

The Selfidges wardrobe is out of stock again . I'm pleased actually as this thread isn't good for me . It does look lovely though.

I just ordered the Selfridges Fragrance wardrobe. The site is really temperamental. It kept saying out of stock and then suddenly I was able to put it in my bag. Anyone keen for it I recommend just keep trying.

I think you are my fragrance opposite 🤣. I liked Sand & Skin and Isola Verde but hated Valaya and Bromptons!

I smelt that yesterday in Selfridges. It's nice. Very tempted by the edit as it's a good price but I'm drowning in perfume and LF is yet to arrive so I'm not going to buy it even though there's a few I would like.

I sold a few from Harrods fragrance this morning but that's all going to offset SNK BAC.

Oh wow, I had no idea this was on the way! If I decide to get this (very likely) then its definitely time I start listing unwanted items on Vinted.

Edit to add I've had a Royal Mail email for LF Fragrance so that's due tomorrow. 😀

And another edit for my own benefit to say this must be the last fragrance edit/kit/calendar I buy in 2025, please!!

I don't think they're going for as much now as they were a few weeks ago, people have moved on 🤣 I just sold the Nishane for £15, I'm happy with that as I've never thought to sell anything before, so it would've just ended up gathering dust on the shelf until I chucked it out in a few years had I not found this thread.

I've just listed the AB face oil, mac ruby woo lipstick and the rodial blush drops. Hopefully they'll sell too 🤞

I did get the calendar out to smell rude oud, Valaya and Immortals, but I then decided to keep them wrapped up until I open the calendar in December. I'm hoping to get the Harvey Nicks fragrance calendar and make some money back on that 😬 I did spray the creed to see if I liked it and I really do 😊

I was set on buying the SNK calendar tomorrow but now I'm starting to wobble 🤣 I'm mainly buying it for the Medik8 serum, but I also have so many serums in my stash, I'm wondering if I should just forget it and pick up the bits on vinted that I like. I feel if I buy it, I'll just think I might as well keep it all and not really sell anything 🤣

I looked at the Selfridges set, I just happened to be on insta when it popped up on the bd's insta page. It said it was in stock, but if I want the HN fragrance calendar, I can't let anything distract me now. I had a quick scan to see if there's anything I really wanted then quickly came off it before I succumbed to the temptation 🤣

Some of these edits/calendars are such amazing value that I really struggle to say no.

With Selfridges I find if you keep trying to add it to your bag it will eventually do it after saying it is out of stock. I just tried it again and fifth attempt it went into my bag . I don't know wether this is just stock being released from other people's bags but it has worked for me twice (although I have only bought one of them and probably shouldn't have done that I think I was just so happy to get it in my bag I got carried away😂)

Why on earth do I now want that Selfridges fragrance set when I know perfectly well I would dislike probably most/all of the scents? I am very easily influenced 🙈

Looking back to last week, I am annoyed that I didn’t buy the LF fragrance calendar - I was just going to when it sold out. Of course, I still don’t need any more perfume but I could have saved days 13-24 for Xmas 26😿

Does anyone know if LF ever restock their calendars or is that it for the year?

If it's anything like their jellycat launch this morning, people kept trying to checkout, eventually could and have now been contacted by selfridges to say that the order failed and the bank payment would be reversed within 5 working days.

@LadyWalters that is my worry too . I would love it if I did get it as I think it is amazing value but I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't

Yes the fragrance wardrobe added to my bag ,it took a few attempts, so persevere if you really want it .I'm going to resist though.
