I’m in the market for a new handbag, I can no longer afford anything too luxurious but equally I’d like a nice, decent quality bag.

I can’t decide on what I want so show me yours! 🫶

I also bought this in holiday in Spain (in khaki) but Scott Samuel sell the exact same one. It's quickly become one of my favourites, I love a bit of boho. Although it will go into hibernation over the winter as Irish rain is not good for suede.

My current one was from White Stuff, about £60. Irritatingly, it's bombproof, so still looks fine 4 years on, but I'm sick of looking at it now.

the only thing I don’t like is that it is not lined

I absolutely loooove this! But I really wish it zipped up fully! I’m so tired of the tab-close bags. I like to wear my bags on my shoulder and I get paranoid that my bags going to get easily pick-pocketed if it isn’t zipped up!

Maybe this is too cheap, but i have taken to use one of the cotton bag from one of the independent shops from my local area. It is not stylish, but i feel it is a bit “trend-ish”. It is from the book shop and has the name of the “town”/trendy place i live in.

I mainly get mine from charity shops ,that way I can get a unique bag in colours that I want.

Uniqlo corduroy sling bag here. I bought it as a stopgap when my last leather bag broke, and I love it. It’s really comfy to wear and light, I can wash it and can squeeze a surprising amount into it. I never want to go back to a heavy leather bag, and definitely not a shoulder bag.

I do love the look of the plaited leather bags like the Scott Samuel one linked above but can’t imagine carrying it round all day. (I walk everywhere).

I got a white stuff brown handbag nearly new for £10.

Guess bags are mid priced and each one has lasted me years of daily use. And still look good. Currently one looks fab and I use every day.

I have a couple of Roka sling bags - the Kennington, I think it’s called.

I use the free cloth bag my duvet cover set came in.

I have a couple of Fatface leather crossbody bags bought in the sale for about £40 each

I have lots of nice handbags but have used a Uniqlo one all summer and have just ordered a cord one for the autumn. Comfortable, goes with everything, light and you can get everything you need in it.

Wipe clean and big enough to get my diary in if I am out and about for work.
I have a black one, a pink one and a blue one
