What has worked for your ageing face?!

At 42, I feel like the skin on my face is ageing rapidly. What creams/potions/treatments have you tried that have really worked to make you look less wrinkled/tired/dead? I have had Botox before but it wears off so quickly.

What has worked for your ageing face?

My failing eyesight has done wonders for my ageing face as the wrinkles are in soft focus...

I am not sure but i feel like ive started using different creams and stuff about a year ago when i started reading about them on S&B. I cannot help but think i am looking older now! I know in a year i have aged but i feel like my skin has aged 5 years!!
ive bought and used tret from skin and me, the estee lauder advanced night repair serum, vit c serum, dr denis gross exfoliating pad, collagen … my skin should look better! Not worse! (No smoking, little booze, good sleep) it makes me wonder if after all this is just marketing …..
i am slowly finishing all the bottles but i have bought some nivea cream and my skin is definitely feeling more hydrated and plumper with it!!!

I bought Garnier vit C serum and i would not recommend it - the smell is awful and it is quite sticky.

id love a recommendation too.

I am using once a week Dr Dennis Gross peel pad, Olay SPF30 with niamicide for the day, retinol twice a week and lots of moisturiser every night! Very little alcohol, no cigarettes, lots of water.

This was my post back in august last year on the same thread…
proof i have tried and it did not work!

What didn’t work @proname

@sundayfundayclub i used a number of products and i think my face has aged more in a year than it did when i used minimal product.
none of the products i listed have made a difference- maybe foa a few hours or a day or so but overall i feel there has been no improvement in terms of lines, volume and elsaricity. I feel that in a year, i have lost a lot of volume and elasticity. I do wonder if all these creams/serums have caused this somehow… or maybe ive just had a bad year skin wise??

I have a type of micro-needling combined with radio-frequency with done at the dermatologist, two sessions, twice a year. It is called "Genius RF microneedling." It stimulates collagen production, tightens everything up, and makes a big difference. It is quite painful though, even with numbing cream.
I also have laser treatment (different ones), again about twice a year.
I also use REALLY good skin-care and always wear SPF, every single day.
My skin looks really good for late 50s.
