Sophie went to cheer on Zara at a horse trials. While Leti visited a couple of schools.

Beatrice took part in a fundraising initiative for 9/11 victims. And posting a couple more pics of Kate’s suit so we can see her shoes and hair.

Sophie's outfit there is dreadful. The long skirt is hideous! Not a fan of the dated boho look her friend has opted for either.

I think Sophie's outfit is for carriage riding isn't it?

I don't like the black high heeled court shoes Kate is wearing, I think they look very dated.

Sophie - oh no to that outfit, it drowns her! She has fab legs and a fab figure. Her beloved blazers would look great imho as a trouser suit and still look very county! 😆

Kate looks very happy and relaxed at that engagement.I know she’s always smiley but she just seems a bit more energised than she has of late. I love a PoW check by the way. Used to have a dress in it in the 80s with mahoosive shoulder pads!!

I hope Sophie was going for a spin in a carriage. Have we seen Lady Louise recently?

I agree about the shoes, they look very dated with trousers.

Yes, they're bad enough with skirts, but don't look right with trousers at all.

I agree about the high court shoes. I really wish she'd start wearing some lower heel shoes for formal events (I suspect she is in flats or gym shoes unless she is working). I often wish Kate would opt for softer, prettier outfits but in general I like her stuff. But her shoes are rarely great.

I like Beatrice's shoes a lot.

Kate’s whole outfit is utterly dated, the shoes, the cut of the suit. No one is wearing high heeled courts anymore.

She really needs a good stylist. I know people will say she wears what she’s comfortable in, but I’d like to see her embracing fashion.

Beatrice and Eugenie always wear great shoes.

The horse show Sophie and Zara were at seems to be a very low key affair as evidenced by Zara being in a jumper. Sophie seems to have really thrown herself into it - she bought a Melvill and Moon hat and some jewellery while there so her appearance changed a bit as the day went on. She still had the super long skirt on which no style watcher has been able to identify.

There are some other functional but questionable style wise outfits on display in other photos. Sophie also seems to have spent time with at least one member of the general public and had a selfie with her so I am sure Sophie considered it a day well spent.

Jeremy Clarkson partner Lisa was at Cornbury horse trials show. Diddly squat had a stand there. Some lovely pictures.

Zara changed into the jumper after competing.
Don’t think Sophie was competing so not sure why she chose that long skirt. Maybe to do with being in mourning, and having to scrabble around for something suitably dark?

Sophie has black clothes. It was a style choice, but not a great one! I have to say that her skin and hair are looking great at the moment, she really does glow.

I thought Lisa had left Jezza?
Sophie is a few years older than me, I would love skin like hers.

Well she's still living on the farm. They were together at the awards on Friday night. Where did you hear that?

What would “embracing fashion” look like? Because if it means wearing stuff you don’t like then it’s a bit pointless. If she’s happy and think she looks good, smart and appropriately dressed then I think it’s ok.

If embracing fashion means adopting the monstrosities often recommended on S&B I’d rather she adhered to her current style.

I wandered into the Japanese Royal family on some sites. They are so staid in their fashion choices, and I know the Japanese Royal court is very conservative. However I think Princess Kako (the Emperor's niece) seems to wear much nicer stuff that Princess Aiko (the Emperor's daughter) . Here are some pictures, the first 2 are Aiko and the second 2 are Kako. I really like the blue skirt.
