i think a range of colours suit Kate so I don’t mind a lighter look BUT it needs a good cut ! A good few inches shorter and less of the “ curly” look

I think I need to see Kate’s hair in another picture - I suspect it’s not quite as blonde as it looks in the DM photo. I liked it a few inches shorter too.

It’s been announced that Edward and Sophie will visit Japan next month so hopefully lovely outfits from that coming up. Maybe Edward’s tailor is researching the double-breasted kimono!

There is an african-american episcopal church near me and the outfits and hats on sunday morning are just fabulous. Men are also dressed so well. Every woman wears a hat and dress and the outfits wouldn't be out of place on this thread. It must be lovely to have someplace to dress up for every week.

Thank you for the new thread. Kate’s hair has probably been bleached in the sun. Im dark brunette (well in reality grey haired) but it gets bleached in the sun and I got called a blonde woman the other day when someone was describing me!

i think that DM article is click bait as even in other photos from the same article her hair is not as light as the headline photo. Probably just a bit of summer sun lightening. There is something odd about the lighting though - compare these two photos of Anne. She looks to be wearing grey but another photo shows it’s actually turquoise.

Anyway I’d like to see Camilla’s outfit in full. I like the feather print dress and she has a carefully draped wrap with it. She looks very country.

I'm certain it's just the light on Kate's hair. Her skin tone suits brunette, can't see her as blonde somehow.

some of them, especially the unusual-coloured sapphires, are so lovely. I was recently in Vienna and went to the Natural History Museum to see the display of cut gems. Some huge citrines cut by Fabergé into a bevelled teardrop shape were stunning, but sadly I didn’t think to take a photo.
