I think Victoria dressed for the weather and Joanna dressed for the occasion. Looking at some of the coat/hat/scarf/gloves/boots combos you’d think it was Baltic up here. It’s really not.

Kate is oit and aboit today and appears to be a brunette again. Maybe she just fancied something different last week without any commitment and it really was a wig!

I think she has had it toned down. Think she could do with loosing a couple of inches unless she is looking to donate it like she did last time.

She has many, many polka dot Alessandra Rich dresses! At least 5 or 6, plus a few in other patterns too.

I’m not sure she has toned her hair down. I think a lot of it is lighting. She looked very tired in photos I saw but again that could be lighting.

On the news Kate's hair still looks that odd shade of light brown/dark blonde. I agree it seems very much to depend on the light.

That's a bit mean . All the royal family are currently in mourning for the Duchess of Kent. A completely black dress would look too severe so I expect this is a suitable dress in her wardrobe.

It's just a comment on style, I really don't think it was anything personal.

I don’t think anyone else could carry off that dress, it’s okay on Catherine, but it’s not the most appealing dress.

No, I don't particularly like it, but I'm not a fan of those large checks. The polka dot one was better, imo.

I wondered if it was a “nod” to the suffragettes given she was at the WI. It had purple in it ( I’m reaching here!!!)

I thought Kate looked very thin on the news. And tired in the photos.

I think she is very thin and hope her health is ok. I'm sure this is a difficult week with the anniversary, a funeral coming soon, and awkward family situation, back to school etc.
Her dress seemed a good choice for the family mourning set up.

Leti and Felipe have been visiting areas devasted by the wildfires, which have been particularly bad this year. I'm glad they're highlighting this. Appropriate practical wear from both.
