Denim shorts help!!!!

I need a pair for my hols
ive tried on about 30 pairs which were all hideous (Zara, RI, M&S, H&M)

finally found these two and like them both so need some help choosing please
i could keep both but just not sure I’ll get the wear out of them

I don’t think either flatter your frame particularly well. They both look too big/wide in the leg for you. The least bad are the ones on the right, purely as the turn up cuffs help a bit, and the giant pockets on set one will make your hips appear wider. You would suit something with a bit of a slimmer fit in the leg. Doesn’t have to be skinny fit. You are lovely and slim and both pairs make you look chunkier purely down to the bad cut of them.

Out of the 2 I'd go for number 1

I like them both but the second pair are the nicest. I like the turn-up cuffs on the bottom. They’re not meant to be fitted, so they both look lovely

Neither do justice to your figure tbh OP, but out of those I’d go for the second as they’re more classic (I really dislike the pockets on the first)

The 2nd pair at the nicest on you. You have fab legs so I’d go shorter and tighter if I had your legs, I’m of the stumpy variety so very envious!

Maybe try hollister they do a big range of shorts.

I have ridiculously skinny legs
and at my age shorter & tighter = mutton/lamb territory

The second ones, but unlike everyone else, I'd try sizing up as having a wider leg hole will balance up your legs and hips better. See Fran on Instagram (thefashionlift) for details - it works!

Second pair look better, but might be worth trying in a size up, will give a better shape, belted.

Second better but i read somewhere that short shorts are more flattering as they don’t cut off your leg mid thigh. I would try some shorter ones, you have great legs,

you don’t have to go super short and skinny fit, but something a bit of a slimmer fit maybe pulled in with a contrasting belt might suit more

2nd pair are very similar to a pair I bought from M&S a few weeks ago. I think they look nice, casual and relaxed in fit. Denim shorts are really versatile!

Should have lovely legs and something slim fitting will look much better, even if you go for a longer length.

Meant to say that I tried similar on in M&S. They were pretty flattering.
