Blackhead that won't go!

I've got good ,clear skin, I have rosacea but have it so well under control it doesn't bother me these days..

BUT

I have a blackhead pore thing on the side of my jaw that will NOT go away. I double cleanse every day and exfoliate 3x a week but every day it comes back. It's not behaving like a blackhead but looks like one. If I hoik it out within a couple of hours it's back again!! Wtf?

What is it and what magic potion do I need to get rid of it?

Definitely not a mole as it goes if I nick the top off...then it's back again a couple of hours later!

I'm not a doctor but Google "Preauricular cyst". It's in the right location for one and it would explain why it always comes back. I have watched TOO many sporn videos

I am a massive sporner, it doesn't squeeze like black head, nothing really comes out ( even with a needle!) just the top comes off, I'm baffled!!

Don't think it's one of them if anything I think it might be a sebaceous filament (?) but how do I get rid of it and keep it gone?

It looks like a scab. If the top comes off then it comes back within hours, are you sure it's not?

Hand sanitizer! The high alcohol gel type.
hurts like mad. Clears up most other things.
Then keep up the good skincare.
& maybe the occasional dab of sudocrem.

failing that, appointment with a nurse, pre squeeze, for someone to have a proper look at it.

I’m a community pharmacist and if you presented to me with that I would send you to a GP. Granted perhaps it looks larger in the photo than it is in real life but the shape and colour are concerning and the fact it goes away but keep coming back is another red flag.

Off topic but any tips on how you have the rosacea under control please let me know #struggleisreal

You should book an appointment with your GP, stating beforehand that you need someone to look at a mole/growth/thing on your face, ideally with their special lens if they have one (my health centre does). I've just had my face examined and every spot/mole/itchy thing on my back examined at the GPs. All clear but she said it was right to have them checked.

A blackhead will not refill in hours. See your GP.

Hmmm I'm seeing a dermatologist in June for (another) skin cancer so will ask them to take a look.
