Which jacket?

I’m going to an event at my son’s university in the US in September. I will wear either a pale pink or navy pair of wide trousers and a slim cream top underneath one of these jackets. My shoes are a nude colour from LK Bennett ( pointy toe sling back). I’m in my 50’s size 6 petite.

I've seen no 1 in real life and it is gorgeous. But no 2 is also lovely. I prefer no 1 though.

One, two is a classic for sure but it doesn’t say stylish like one does.

This summer it has to be 1. Safari style jackets are in. The LK Bennett one has been made by them for years. It’s hardly a new look. So definitely 1. Great with navy in my view!

They all look lovely. I wish I could wear white but alas I have a toddler and even when he's not near, somehow everything ends up covered in peanut butter and paint.

Do you actually have the jackets? Because I think the first one might overwhelm your size and height. There’s an awful lot going on in that design and to me it looks like they’ve struggled to style it well, even on the models.

I don’t have them yet but have decided it will be one of these. I have been wearing a lot of Em and Me clothes, mainly tops and I spotted this jacket. I usually wear petite but their size 4 fits me well. My trousers are all from REISS because they do petite. The LK Bennett one is petite.

Two is lovely and classic and will look smart and pretty. One is great but the buttons make it look a bit more casual. I also think they add another colour as they are so prominent so the black might not go so well with the navy trousers.
