The next thread, royal style mavens! The title suggestion was from our last thread. Mary of Teck was never knowingly underdressed or less than bejewelled!

Eugenie’s bag looks like she stopped off to pick up a McDonald’s on the way there 😆. I
love the colour of Sophie’s coat but agree it is a bit “wintry” and it looks too long. I really like Beatrice’s shoes

Agree that Camilla looks great. I quite like Eugenie’s coat but the paper bag look is very strange. Bea looks lovely in green and I really like her green shoes - the headband is terrible as always. And Sophie’s coat looks incongruous with the white dress, pink hat and pale shoes - it looks a bit like she had to grab something out of the hall cupboard at the last minute.

Sophie's coat is grim with that hat (winter meets summer anyone?) but James suits the alpaca look and looks very impressive for a youngster.

Yes, I like Beatrice's dress and shoes. I'm not keen on those headbands though.

Yes - I thought Sophie's coat looked like something from the Christmas walk to church - not a very spring-like look.

Spring look. Some of them playing safe perhaps because of contrary weather forecasting. I was dithering this morning re what dress to wear because it was Baltic overnight and early this morning.

Royals all look nice , Sophie and Bea are very wintery. James looks like all my DS mates. Wonder why Louise wasn't home for the Easter hols?

I think because it’s St Andrews they are not officially on holiday and she must be in her last year so presumably revising for finals. I remember staying at university for Easter holidays in my final year to finish my dissertation (and try to catch up on all the work I shouldn’t have left to the last possible minute 😂)

It looks as if Fergie was also wearing a headband hat. I’m sure there must be a name for them. They always look a bit medieval to me.

From a distance I thought it was Chanel but it’s not. I recognise the logo but can’t remember the brand 😀

Sophie’s hat, white dress and too long, heavy coat are wrong together- whoever said it looks like she just grabbed a coat from the hall stand, upthread, because the weather was a bit iffy, could be right.

Isabella's birthday portraits have been released.

She wears the Elephant Order and a bandeau tiara given to her by Daisy.

Beautiful! That dress is stunning.

The earrings are borrowed from Mary (her birthday gift, the ones that belonged to Catherine the Great).

Isabella looks lovely. I can't decide which parent she looks like, though she definitely inherited Mary's poise in front of the camera.

The tiara is from the late 1800s and belonged to Isabella's great great grandmother, Crown Princess Margareta of Sweden (born Margaret of Connaught) who died at 38 upon which the tiara was inherited by Ingrid, Daisy's mother, who in time gave it to Daisy on her 18th Birthday.

I think Daisy very much enjoys being able to pass heirlooms on privately to DIL and granddaughters, since she didn't have daughters herself.

That's a very pretty tiara and earrings. Not overwhelming.

I think Isabella is an exact replica of Fred, just in feminine form.

Yes I agree, the jewellery is exactly right for the occasion - not too much, very elegant and a little bit different, and looks beautiful against her hair. It also matches the garter nicely and stands out well against the dress.
