For informal summer racing followed by music.

The shorts aren’t really matching the waistcoat. I’m thinking longer line tailored shorts or wide legged trousers would be better?

Sorry OP but I don’t like any of it. By summer racing do you mean horses? That’s not what people wear to horse racing events.

Agreed - the waistcoat is structured and the shorts are too pretty.

I love the waistcoat top!! But it doesn’t look completely right with the shorts. What other smart bottoms do you have?

Love the top. Would look nice with a skirt on the knee or longer for the races.

If it were me, I’d pair the top with a pair of tailored slim straight leg trousers, either white (exactly to match the top) or black, with a gold buckle belt and some gold jewellery (or silver!)

Shorts and stilettos? Rather 80s retro and not in a good way.

Haven’t really got any other smart bottoms but have plenty of time!

The shorts look too much like Granny's knickers - try a skirt or culottes. Great legs by the way!

Agree with others that shorts don’t go with the top. It looks a bit like you’ve forgotten to dress your bottom half - frilly knickers with a formal top 😳

what about with really nice white flared jeans? And same heals? It is in the dress code although appreciate might be a little dressed down..

The outfit isn't doing your amazing figure justice, back to the drawing board l think.

I like the separate pieces but they don’t really go together to form a cohesive outfit in my mind.
Also I’m in awe of anyone who wears all white outfits as I’m so prone to spilling drinks or food down me or just picking up dirt from unknown sources 😂
