Want to recommend these jeans to everyone but esp to the short and be-bellied.

I haven't been able to transition out of my elder millennial skinnies before now as no other jeans I've tried have looked right or felt comfortable on my body shape (5'4, size 14 with a belly).

Bought these in the short length in black and they are just perfect. Soft but sturdy denim with stretch, super comfy, suck the belly in, perfect wide leg without being too much. Went straight back online and bought the blue ones.

wouldn't suit me. The wide leg would be a nuisance when cycling. Tapered still suits me better.

I have these too in the washed black. I’m 5’ nothing on a good day. They are indeed a good buy! I bought the blue but they were too tight so will try them again in a 14.

I've been looking EVERYWHERE for wide legged (but not too wide) cropped jeans in a petite size. It's an impossible task! Can anyone help?

Try the ones I recommended earlier in this thread from Next. They are not ultra wide but a good shape in my opinion.

They are quite short I promise, I'm 5ft5 and they appear short on me. They are definitely worth a try.

I have these jeans and I love them. I bought the 14 which are a tad little roomy at the waist. But as I cannot stand any restriction at my (admittedly non-existent) waist, the extra room feels good.

They're quite £££ for me, but cost per wear is working out nicely. Also, they look way better in real life. 👍🏻

I bought the petite mom jeans ( can't think of the name) after reading a lot about New Look petite jeans . They're perfect length on me (5ft) and comfy on waist/ tummy.

You can get them shorter than a 30L I think

You can get Adalae ones in 28” leg

I can't agree @AreolaGrande I ordered several pairs online about a month ago.

I'm 5'4". Belly. Size 14. They look awful. They emphasize my belly. They cut up into my groin. They were just a little too long in the leg, despite getting the short length.

However, I kept a pair of Quinn bootcut low rise from the order. Much more flattering.

Next petite also have some great 100% cotton jeans just now which are perfect for the short be-bellied. They are called mid blue straight hourglass and are available in regular length or petite - the hourglass is vital, I ordered both the hourglass and the standard but the standard was just too tight on the waist.

I have the Quinn in black and they are great.

True to size, literally just tried a 14 on when I am a 16 (no stock in regular length) but couldn't do them up. Just a word of caution, they look nothing like the picture as soon as you go over a size 14 because they are wide fit they have a lot of denim going on.
