What’s your fashion weakness?

Mine is a good/unusual collar.

Stripey tops
Oversized jumpers
Midi skirts
Gold shoes

Silk - jackets, tops, shirts
Anything vaguely Italian designer - bags, blazers, coats, shoes, tops, shirts, knitwear
Cashmere - my latest obsession - cardigans, short sleeved jumpers, long sleeved jumpers
Suede - trainers, shoes and handbags,

Funnily enough I do have two Sister Jane items with great collars!

Handbags .. I realistically have enough until I die.
Dresses… they are so easy, winter and summer, especially if short as you don’t get cut in half. Huge selection… often I buy second hand.
I bought myself a trench coat for the first time (at 60!) and I obsessed!.

Biker jackets (must have about 6 from All Saints and Whistles)

This thread makes me feel a lot better about my fashion addiction. When I read those threads where the poster says they only have 2 pairs of shoes and 1 coat, it makes me feel awful.

I have far too many lovely things that I have built up over the years. The majority has been bought at sample sales / on sale / secondhand but nevertheless, I have a LOT. Shoes, bags, coats (ooh how I love a coat!), you name it and I’m obsessed by it if it’s good quality and well made. And I love a statement piece.

I love everything about shirts.
A man's oversized shirt, a shirt buttoned all the way up, or unbuttoned almost all the way down with a camisole underneath, a short sleeve boxy shirt etc...
I even like to iron them. It's a little time between me and my shirts.

Another one is caps. When I broke-up with my ex partner, it was very amiable except when we discussed who would keep each cap (I won and gained custody of most of them)

Cashmere jumpers, cardigans & scarfs in every permutation - thin, fat, lacy & in different weights for cooler or milder weather.

I even like to iron them.

Ironing shirts is immensely satisfying. (If done at leisure and not in a rush!)

Blazers. I don’t understand how you put an outfit together without one 🤣

And coats. I’ve got into cloaks / capes too so I’m permanently on Vinted trying to find some old smelly relic I can rescue.

Sunglasses. Can be a fiver or £400 - I love them all. And by hiding 60% of my face. I think I’m 60% more attractive.

Handbags!
I need more of them haven't brought many in a couple of years but I can never get too fat for an handbag!

I have to be really firm with myself and not look at them.
Otherwise I'm lost...

I use public transport and the weather is usually so bad that I end up wearing my waterproof coats so I make sure that they are ones that I love.🥰

Scarves, lots and lots of scarves.

(I have hefty udders and if I'm having a self conscious day I throw a bright scarf over my tee shirt and et voila! Confidence reborn!)

So many shirt dresses.
And gemstone/gold jewellery.

100% with you on that last point. Never seen in public without my Ray Bans.
