Just for fun (& inspiration as I’m looking for a new work bag!).

My last purchase was the ubiquitous Uniqlo bag in off white corduroy. Aside from a black leather phone bag from The White Company, this is my most used bag at the moment.

A Morrisons bag for life

Lovely. I like it.

And there's something liberating about not having enough room for the kitchen sink.
Or a child's book.
Or DH's keys.
Or enough snacks to feed a small country.

Maybe it was just self respect I needed and not a dinky handbag.

I like the look of polene bags too but haven't seen them in store anywhere and can't be bothered with the faff of having to return if it's not right.

ganni tote bag, I always use a lightweight shoulder bag for everyday as I lug so much crap about.

I take the smallest phone pouch out with me when I’m with the DC so DH has to take his rucksack 😂

To be honest I have been considering LV or even Celine at a push although DH has just said it might not be wise spending so much on a bag I’m taking to work, using on a train etc. which annoyingly makes sense. So I’m somewhere between getting a stupidly expensive bag anyway which I’ll adore, getting a mid-priced bag which I like & getting the hump & reusing an old Le Pliage which is perfect really but doesn’t fill me with joy 🤷🏻‍♀️

You could look at Aspinal or Osprey for your work bag. Not sure if they still have sales on but last time I looked at Aspinal they had some amazing discounts.

I've been keen on the Marc Jacobs tote bag but absolutely refuse to spend that sort of money on what is essentially a canvas tote. A local shop that has a range of 'designer inspired ' bags stocks a version and had a flash sale recently so I picked one up for £20. For that money I won't worry about it getting a bit bashed about.

This is mine. I absolutely love it. DH moans about it as it's rather large but I love how much I can get in it. I'm like Mary Poppins everywhere I go.

DH got me a boyy wonton 20 in early Feb. Love it!
