I've had an unexpected bonus at work and would like to spend it on a designer bag. I've never treated myself to anything like this and it will be a once-in-my-lifetime purchase.

I've a couple of ideas but would love some inspiration. Mulberry Lily is top of my list currently.

What is your dream bag that you would use for years to come?

Between alexa and lily I personally would chose lily. I have both. Don't use them much anymore though. I got both as first releases from NBS store. Lily was more versatile and easier to carry. Enjoy your new purchase!

I love Sarah Haran handbags. You can mix and match many pieces in your collection and colour match to outfits. Leather is buttery soft.

Just a thought but I treated myself to an osprey laptop bag as work more than go out these days it was on sale last year. Plus going out vary bags with outfit.

I think it very much depends on your style and your friend group/lifestyle. A lot of the top designer brands have become excessively expensive recently. I would look for something preloved with classic style.

Tried to post a pic of my favourite bag, harmless black leather, but got told my images are under review!!! Whaaatttt? And this is the first image I've ever tried to add to anything. What's going on? The bag is Vrsac Medusa, black with a gold heavy chain. Oh wait! They've actually posted it!!!!

Louis vuitton Artsy...I coveted this bag for so long and eventually bought it...Absolutely adore it still a number of years later. I have a number of Mulberry bags but nothing beats my LV Artsy...

I have a mini Alexa and I love her. She’s quite hard wearing. She’s a bit small for everyday use though although I do like a big purse and carry a lot of crap around with me.

I would love a Bayswater for everyday use. At the moment my Kate spade everyday bag is taking a bit of a battering whilst I save up :)

LV Alma. I have one in monogramme and it's my fave go to bag, If I were buying again, I think I would go for Damier print (the dark one)

Also have a dark brown Bayswater and that is also a great (& cavernous bag) If you go for a Bayswater, I would recommend getting a bag liner with compartments to save you losing stuff in the depths of it!

LV pochette Metis in black empreinte. Bought in France, so was cheaper to pay for in euros and then got an additional 10% tax returned.

I am also currently favouring a beautiful LV neverfull which is a silver background painted with pink roses. It’s my spring neverfull and I’m looking forward to wearing it on fine days (it’s pale leather straps and I’m precious about it!).

I like using my LV Noenoe over the winter in black empriente or monogram.
In the evenings I like to use a Chanel.
