@OrangeyLemon - it does mention them on the card so they must still be doing them - I hope so!

They never tell you when the Kindred gifts are running. You just have to order at the right time and it gets added to your order. I rely on lovely people here ordering and telling us there’s a gift.

It was January and July last year, I think, (haven’t checked my orders to double check).

Has anyone ordered anything this week?

I finally have bought a pair of the gingham trousers. I bought and sent back the two previous years versions. I sized down a lot and they’re the length and fit I want. Bonus they go with lots of navy and stone shades in my wardrobe.

I’m afraid this latest drop has a good many things to tempt me but I always love summer things. Pity the weather where I am isn’t summer by any stretch of the imagination.

Toast cs have found it, I've got both 10 and 12 coming, as I'm sometimes between sizes.

@IlovePond I have ordered this week - the organic cord barrel legs. They are going back - another Toast fail (for me). I wanted to love them- thought would love them- but I look like I am wearing a nappy under the trousers. Maybe I need to size down but I think they just aren't for my body shape. There was waaaay too much material gathered in the waistband/backside areaI am quite small so the overall look was 'nappy'.
I got my Kindred card today as well.
I am quite disappointed as this is two full price items I have sent back in a row - and that never used to happen. I think I need a more tailored waist to work.

Tried on a few things this morning. I was hoping the new drift stripe shirt would be a good neutral shirt but the shape is very weird. At least on me. Tight under the arms but the arms are very wide and the shoulders had lots of spare fabric. Odd.
I was hoping the linen dress that comes in navy and the greeny yellow was the same as the graphic check cotton cashmere one, but it is slightly different. It doesn’t have dropped shoulders which makes it a bit neater in the body and it doesn’t work for me in the same size. I might try a bigger size at some point.
The Minako trousers in navy linen are ok but not all that exciting. I have the barrel leg linen trousers in the same fabric from last summer and these are not different enough or better.
I was sure the two linen items would be ones I would buy later in the season but now I don’t think so.

I struggle with Toast trousers - usually far too much material in the crotch for me!

My Kindred is due for renewal in July 🤞

@venus7 I am 5'3", it was only a little bit too long, I would have kept it and taken it up but the arms were a bit too long also.
It did feel absolutely gorgeous and looked amazing, i was sorry to return it.

If you look on your acccount and then ‘post pass’ it tells you when you’re due to renew, mine says 2026 now so I assume renewed!
on the toast York insta there is a lady wearing the bib! She looks pretty good in it

How are you getting on with the twill side tie vest @ScottishMouse ? It seems to have a lot of positive reviews. I can't decide if it's going to be worth me trying it; it seems a lot of money, especially with dry clean only.

@Theteapotsbrokenspout i really love the vest. I was wearing it today in fact. But…I have only worn it over dark coloured tops. I tried it for a few hours at home over an old white top and there was a little dye on the top after. But it washed out. I wonder if I tried it a few more times like that would most of the excess dye come off on the old top and then there would be no more. Maybe I’ll try that.

In other news, I just got home to a kindred card in the post.

I just know I'm going to end up buying that Kantha bib and just wearing it around the house and to eat soup in. It's got, fuck it, sale purchase all over the blurb.

You could definately use it as an actual bib. Although, is it dry clean?!

A dry clean only bib would be the pinnacle for new Toast, probably to launch their baby range 🤣.

In fairness, this one says hand wash.

I wonder if the gift is from tomorrow or when the whole new collection drops.
My brick donegal arrived -ordered the wrong size🙄but also the yarn used for the yoke detail was lumpy on one side, like roving (
knitters will know) and looked awful.
It's gone back and I will order a smaller one tomorrow

I'm not trendy nor striking enough to carry them off plus they were everywhere last spring so Toast a bit late to the party 🤠

My Toast post pass has been renewed but no card in the post for me. I never get a Christmas card either. I used to but then I moved and never again. It’s not like they don’t have my address!

Strong contenders for me from new (ish?) drop are the chocolate Blundstones and the basket style washing basket. Both practical, right?!

@Countmeout , the gingham trousers: you say you had to size down? Are they these ones? I am a 12 and being recommended a medium but perhaps I should size down to a small. My Kindred renews in September , can’t work out why so many are being renewed now , whereas I’d have thought it would be different according to the month it started….

@ToastCosILoveIt i tried them in the red as there was a S on Vinted but they were much too small (I am a 14ish) so I would say you’d want the Medium unless you have a small waist. I think the legs don’t make much difference but it’s the waist that’s the decider. That’s assuming that the red are the same sizing as the blue. Also the model is wearing an S which makes me think they are sized small as there is also a XS and XXS available.

@OftenOrange I think they renew us all twice a year, and this is one of them
