Toasties - still loving the knitwear and the chat!

I have set up a new Toastie thread, guys.

Apologies for my slow reply @ToastCosILoveIt Thanks for the info - your comments prompted me to try on the skirt in my local shop and I loved it. The green is a lovely rich colour, the fabric is weighty, good quality and hangs beautifully and the pleats start lower down without accentuating hips therefore less bulk around the waist. I think I’m going to order both colours. I’m hoping they will be versatile and useful additions to my wardrobe.

I didn’t suit the striped smock in brick and returned it to the shop and wrote a few negative comments about it on here - however one of the shop assistants was wearing it and it really suited her, so I take
back my comments about it being shapeless, it just wasn’t for me.

@whinsome so happy you are pleased with the merino wool wrap and well done for snaffling it up half price. It really is a beautiful piece that hopefully will last many years. It’s very soft but seems quite robust. Definitely worth a tiny break of the rules on your low/no buy year ! I air mine in between wearing which helps keep it clean but I haven’t tried washing it yet. Like you I am tempted a cold hand wash in the bath perhaps once a year instead of dry cleaning but I’ll delay making that decision until the moment arrives.

The Dobby Stitch Cotton Skirt arrived for me this morning along with the Kaia V-Neck Wool Cardigan in oatmeal, so now I have one smart skirt, one everything skirt (the crinkle in blue), and one pair of casual trousers (the dobby) to wear while I shrink further. All very capsule, but garments I really like.

I love the barrel jeans but £225 - ouch. I picked up a lovely pair in Sainsburys for £22, and even my Cos ones were only £85!

I'm going to try them in the shop, but I'm going to have to really really love them to justify buying. Plus they are high fashion at the moment, but I'm not sure ill be wearing them in five years time. What do you guys think?

Hiddeous. I agree. What is Toast thinking of ?
Also the prices are shocking! Most things over or nearly £200!
For the second season [ so far] I am not excited about any of the offerings in the new stuff. Just as well!

Is it just me, or has the 'saved' button been removed from the Toast website so that we can no longer save our favourites...?

Thanks @ScottishMouse , I realise I have it on my own laptop and my phone, but it doesn't appear when I look on the Toast website from my work laptop :( Perhaps I shouldn't be sneaking peaks when I am working (although in my defence, I am well outside of office hours :)).

I posted in S&B about a Toast dress.........won't write it again, but may I ask you toasties to look at it please?

Is it the sun and moon jacquard dress in oil? If you google it you'll find a photo online to confirm, but it's no longer available on their website.
If you give Toast customer service a call they may be able to find one for you. There are matching trousers available too.

It had long sleeves, rather loose shape, black background, I think, dark, anyway. The one I want is no longer available, I know, but haveToast on the case, as of this evening, but they thought same as you.

Hi, just returning from KC. Not much in and no good reductions, (now that they have removed the permanent sample rails).

I bought a totally unnecessary hat that had been in the last sale.

They were very fluffy @mizu They also had some of the giant cord bags and the linen ones too, plus some small kettle bags, (and some bigger floral kettle bags).

I got a lovely card in June welcoming me to Kindred for the first time, but there have been no gifts since then. I hope they haven't stopped them!
