As I said upthread, it will be well over a week before I see my ££ so I am likely to miss out on sale prices for Sandqvist, for example. I looked at the products and their dimensions and knowing I didn’t give a fig about colour or pattern, it was a judged risk where odds seemed to lean my way. Getting two dips mitigated that risk even further, but I hadn’t appreciated how ROKA would be pushing their low vfm stuff. Perhaps re Sandqvist, I dunno, maybe I’ll be lucky, I hope so. And nope, I don’t work for them 😊 Fingers crossed, I mean some luck is now due my way after these unlucky dips, right?! 😁

Aren't the smaller bags from the midi category. This doesn't sound right for maxi.

Why spend £60 on a gamble you can't afford if you only wanted "Just a one single workable bag"? Just choose what you want for £60 🤷‍♀️

@SurferRona You've derailed the thread complaining enough now; as PP have said, if you'd got what you wanted you'd be happy - that's the risk you took. If you needed a large bag you could have bought one to your personal spec but chose not to.

Vinted is so easy- maybe a good time to get into it?
You will have your money back in under a week- much quicker than a ROKA return (they dont rush refunds!)

Well exactly. For starters I wouldn't have ordered 2 at the same time. If you want a bargain buy on Black Friday when they're 50% off. The point is a bit of fun so certain posters can stop being an absolute sponge. Bloody hell.

Its probably best just to take this thread back to being nice again and just not respond to haters. Let's start by letting me know what you all got this year and last! 🙂 this year i got an orange medium black edition Canfield, its rather lovely! I got a random orange tote bag on the mini too, with velvet Roka London printing on it! I haven't seen anyone else post one yet! Last year I got a large cranberry Canfield, a large flax finchley and a small pea coloured bantry with tartan brushed cotton lining! I've got a little red wallet i use every day too 😊😊😊

If anyone gets a Trafalgar they are bloody brilliant. I bought a black one this year and it's a fantastic work bag. You don't see many of them.

I hadn't heard of the lucky dip until this thread, but I've been drawn in and put in a maxi order - will post on here to let you know what I receive. Fingers crossed!

They're mentioned in the midi description! So definitely shouldn't be maxi!

All I tried to do was be reasonable in reporting my experience, rationale and responding to questions. I’ve only ever been polite and factual. I still maintain it’s useful for other prospective purchasers to hear all experiences - even if this is a thread meant for feelz and vibez, dissenting views are still valid. But fair enough, I can see that some stans may not want to hear a different perspective!

Actually telling us how f*ed off you were was quite rude. If you have an issue you should report it to Roka, not make us listen to it. The rules were clear from the outset on the website, we arent here to listen to this.

But all of your complaints could have been foreshadowed by reading the T&Cs on the Roka website, or experiences of posters on previous threads. You haven’t been reasonable, factual and polite, you have been badmouthing the company, saying the bags are poor quality and repeatedly writing AVOID in caps. You have completely misunderstood what the lucky dip way of buying these products is, and made the mistake of gambling money that you have admitted you couldn’t afford.

Now you are calling people who have called you out ‘stans’ and wide eyedly making out you were only trying to offer a different perspective when this thread and the previous ones have already been full differing perspectives with some posters who were happy with what they got, and others who admit they were disappointed but then unlike you realised it was just luck of the draw and either swapped their bags or sold them. As I mentioned I was disappointed with my bag last year, but very happy this year. Your posts have been quite amusing in their bonkers tone though I must admit :)

Thought I would post a picture of the Gatwick Duffel holdall I received yesterday 😀. The straps look beige - they are the normal grey - my phone's a bit rubbish!
