The laptop slot is a nice touch! There's also a funny section at one end for shoes - they've thought of everything 😁.

I'm lazy though and usually use wheels! It's definitely a keeper though.

I didn't do the lucky dip last year but enjoyed reading the threads. Feeling more financially stable so trying a maxi this year. Looking forward to getting a surprise

I just ordered this for my DD ( as a general order not doing Lucky Dip)
I did get a KeyWorker Discount though so pleased .

She had a tote bag (cannot remember the brand) but there wasn't room for all her belongings and most totes just have a press-stud which she didn't want .
She won;t entertain Kipling (because they;re a Mum Bag )

I have a Roka Willesden and I was tempted to buy another bag for me but I Do Not Need One !

I've ordered a maxi. Hoping to get a bag to replace my current work bag. I'd also be happy with a bag I could use to carry the kids drinks and snacks on days out.

I have a Willesden, it's a cracking little bag. Hilda quite a lot for it's size and ust slung in one shoulder it's kinda cool .

I got bags for dh and I last year (he got a medium bantry in petrol blue and loves it - uses it daily and it looks as good as it did on the day of purchase. I got a medium Canfied in a plum colour which I love and have used weekly on outings with dc)

I'm tempted to go again this year but I only have one back to carry backpacks on 😂 I'd love to get a small backpack for my primary-aged dc tho so if anyone gets a small & colourful bag, I'd be keen on buying it

Eek I had completely forgotten about this! I have just placed an order for a Maxi and am really hoping to get one of those gorgeous duffle bags.

My mini order hasn't arrived yet, but I do like my maxi even though I wish it had been a medium Bantry B rather than a small.

Last year I got a Paddington hip bag and I used it for my passport etc on holiday. It is perfect for circumventing Ryan Air and Easy Jet baggage rules as its easy to ear under a jumper and very deceptive in size. I also love the mustard colour, although I'd never have picked it for myself!

@SurferRona Hi I think Roka changed the wording since the lucky dip went live. The small bantry bags shouldn't have been part of the maxi lucky dip. They cost £54.95 and the maxi dip should be for bags in the £59.95-£89.95 price range. You are right to feel short changed. Others have complained and Roka have sorted it. If you email customer services they will swap them for you. It might take a few days but it beats selling them on and having the hassle. Hope that helps and hope you get the bags you like.

I know someone from Roka customer services reads these threads, as they have mentioned Mumsnet threads on their lucky dip webpage in previous years so the poster might want to get some of her more irrational posts removed before contacting them. You catch more flies with honey etc etc..

@isthismylifenow yes sorry that was a typo - it was 2 minis and 2 midis

The website currently says that the midi is for items worth £39.95 – £59.95 with no mention of backpacks, and that the maxi is for items worth £54.95 – £89.95 and specifically mentions S/M/L backpacks.

So it’s worth a polite email but as the wording currently stands, the small Bantry B backpacks still fit in the maxi category.

@SabrinaThwaite Yes the wording was changed this morning after a number of customers complained because they received small rucksacks that did not meet the price range so the listing for maxi was incorrect. If the order was placed prior to this morning (which this one was) the original wording stated that the maxi dip would be for items priced at £59.95-£89.95. So the small bantry bags should not have been maxi dip items

I’m sure there was confusion last year over which category included the backpacks too.

I got a Finchley A sustainable in custard. It's the small size. This was from the maxi lucky dip.

@Philandbill Sounds nice. Yes the Finchley bags are more expensive than Bantry so I guess that's why they were included in the maxi dips. Its' the same issue as last year. The wording was confusing because the dips were segregated by price range but also mentioned what you could expect to receive. And the two descriptions didn't align! Small Finchleys are about £65 so that's a good bag!

Last night I had fitful sleep and had multiple dreams about taking part in the lucky dip.I don't want another restless night full of Roka bags so just ordered some! I might not like any of it but will wait for swaps or vinted.
