No. I got sucked in like a sheep last year from a thread on MN. Managed to sell them at no loss on vinted. My learning was to pay a bit more (they were on a blanket x% off later in year and on some other websites) and get what you actually want and what suits you .

I saw a woman with a vomit coloured one on the tube last week and thought I bet you were suckered by the lucky dip

I'm playing again this year and have placed an order this morning :)

They're great bags, so hopeful I'll get something I love!

Noticed that they're offering refunds this time around if you're not happy with their selection, which I know was a concern last time.

No, t&c are different to previously .
Last years awful bucket hats which were not mention on the release day
Also they are the bags I reach for least.
I dislike the proportions.

I started last year's thread! I got a gorgeous large forest green Finchley which I use all the time (which got me accused of being a plant working for Roka last year). It was my hand luggage for a trip to Copenhagen this year. The year before I got a red medium Bantry. However... I bought a Trafalgar and a Paddington B in the sale in black plus got a purple large Willesden for Christmas so I just don't think it's necessary this year.

Looking forward to seeing what others get though!

Last year I got the hip bag and I used it on all my holidays. This year I've used the key workers discount and got ove £5 off the maxi lucky dip. Looking forward to seeing what I get.

Oh I didn’t know if this was still going! I got a rucksack style a few years ago when it was just one price. Tempted to go for a mini so that I’ve got something to put valuables in when travelling as the rucksack has been great for the train

I'm thinking not this year. 1st year I got 2 big rucksacks - gave one to my DIL. V nice.

Last year got a bright yellow round bag on a waist strap - which looks like a safety device. Dont use. A medium purse type thing which lacks any sort of fun. Dont use. And a brown one shoulder bag which was handy on city trips but didnt set my world alight!

So tempted to go for a maxi....

Not sure if I'm going to bother this year. I pre-ordered a Luton bag in saffron which is on its way to me, other than that I have everything I need or want apart from a Trafalgar tote, so I'm probably better off just ordering one specifically. Will be fun watching this thread though!

Yes I'm in! Got one when my ds was a newborn and it's been a great day bag for his stuff. Another ds on the way so going to get another one. Used the teachers discount and got a maxi and a medium - hoping for a crossbody this time (and a backpack)

The Luton bag looks interesting - shame they’ve made it too long and deep to fit the EasyJet hand luggage dimensions though (unless you can squish it sufficiently).

Not this year. I have two lovely ones from last year. One was a MN swap - a large yellow for a medium blue.

I seem to have ended up with a collection of Roka bags from some years of lucky dips so will try and stay out of it this year! Will keep an eye on vinted though, might have space for a Heathrow if they throw any samples of that in.

No. Interesting that they've changed their return policy on the lucky dip though. I bought one a couple of years ago and had to argue with them that legally I was entitled to a refund, their snotty response really put me off ever buying one of their products again.

I admit to being tempted a few times by this.

But I also think went hey first did it, it was a great marketing campaign that probably got a lot of traction and earned them a decent sum in profit selling off random stuff they can't sell..

I feel like they did one earlier in the year though. 🤔
Not sure I'll partake. I'd rather wait and get something I really want in a sale I think instead of risking getting something vile.

I'm in. I was pleased with the medium bag I got last year. I've gone for a maci this year. If I don't use it teenage/student DDs will.

I've gone for two maxis. No idea why, I don't even need one! Hoping for a bag with water bottle pouches!

I noticed that about refunds . I don’t think legally they could stop refunds ?

Also clarifying that maxi mystery could include small bags . I know people last year weren’t happy with that.

People have used EMILYHAPPY for 10% off.. not free delivery but a gives you something off! Of course I’d ordered two maxis before seeing the code 🙈
