I'm thinking of going for a midi! Looking for a free shipping cod ethough

I've ordered a midi as I don't need another backpack. Not sure what to expect.

I've ordered a maxi. We'll see! I really don't need it (whatever "it" turns out to be!) but I'm hoping that if I don't want it, I can either flog it on Vinted or exchange it on here.

I've gone for a maxi. Fingers crossed for a backpack.

I ordered one of each

Mini - a bedford tealbucket hat
Midi - a jubilee bum bag in avocado
Maxi - a Canfield b small in neon blue ( lurking in one of the pockets said it was a sample)

All ok and useful, though I wish the Canfield was bigger.

Perhaps they are sending out lots of small backpacks initially to manage expectations after last year, when people weren’t expecting them in the maxi lucky dip?

Or maybe they just have more available.

I have taken a punt. Ds needs a new laptop bag for school so fingers crossed

I've ordered a midi. I'd be happy with any of the styles they list as possibilities, even if it's some outrageous colour I'll use it for festivals. Last year I got one in black and one in a gorgeous burnt orange, so I'm hopeful it will be something nice!

I ordered a maxi on Thursday. I haven’t even received a message to say it’s been dispatched yet some people have already had theirs delivered!

I’m not bothering this year. I got a large Paddington in burgundy in last year’s Midi which is brilliant, and an apple green waist bag in the Mini which I actually wear cross body and is great just to pop a key, tissues and a little bit of cash or a card if we’re out walking. I really don’t need any more bags but like others, I’d sooner wait for a discount and get a style and colour that I actually want.

Mine hasn't either.

I think it depends what time you ordered by and what delivery option you chose.

I wondered if mine would arrive today but when I checked next day delivery is only Mon-Fri if you order before 2pm but standard delivery includes Saturday. So I'm guessing most won't come now until Monday?

I ordered mine on Thursday evening and it just arrived. I totally lucked out - a large Finchley in ‘Pacific’ exactly what I would have chosen myself :) Much better than last year’s revolting ‘mellow camo’ pattern!

That's great, I'd love one like that but trying to manage my expectations. I ordered Thursday mid day but not had a dispatch email yet.

I ordered Thursday evening I think. I've downloaded the shop app which tracks it and it says it's still preparing shipment so maybe Monday.

That pacific blue is my dream bag! I am totally managing my expectations. I ordered yesterday so I think it will take a while to get there and now regretting ordering as I think I’ll get something awful…. The maxi option was showing as ‘awaiting stock’ when I ordered so that could explain the delay some of you who ordered on Thursday are experiencing.

Mine has arrived I've got a mini Chelsea (a bag shape I quite need tbh, nice and small to hide under my jacket in cities) unfortunately it's yellow 😆

Just arrived: a Small Bantry B rucksack in Cranberry. I love the colour but was hoping for a decent size rucksack, I'll use it though

I've considered this but concluded I'd rather buy a bag I love which gives me pleasure to look at and use.

It's too much of a lottery!

@Firestorms i never got a dispatched email, it just arrived less than 24 hours after I ordered it with standard delivery via Royal Mail!

After seeing some of the brilliant ones on here, I've placed my order this morning.

Gorgeous colour but yes I can definitely understand the disappointment at getting a small bag instead of a rucksack.

I got a small Bantry B too! I love that Cranberry; mine's Stormy so more boring but probably more practical.

It's the nylon version rather than canvas. I can use it for shortish daywalks if I don't want to take a full on rucksack. I've got an old decathlon 10l rucksack but this Bantry is nicer, and feels more weatherproof.

(I still would have liked a brighter colour though!)

I'm fully expecting a small Bantry. I skimmed through last years threads and that seemed to be the most prevalent bag overall in the rucksack category. Which makes sense because most people wanting a rucksack purchase a larger size so it probably has the most surplus stock.

Nothing wrong with them, they're nice bags, just a bit on the small side for what most people want from that type of bag.
