I've been watching these threads for the last 2 years and I've finally taken the plunge and ordered a maxi. Fingers crossed it's something I like...

Decided to take a chance this year. Hoping for a large rucksack in a darkish colour for DS to take to Uni this year. I expect this means I will get something yellow or pink! 😂I was able to use key worker discount so for £28 all in I figured it's worth a punt.

I'm very tempted by this. Haven't done this lucky dip before, but I did the Kind Bag one and it was great, got a full sized backpack and a few foldaway shopping bags which made great stocking fillers as well as a totebag and a couple of other items.

Just signed up for the emails, the 10% off code says 'cannot be used with any other discount or promotion' so I'm assuming it won't work on the lucky dip?

I did post upthread about my last year experience.

I think the problem was that the invoice they charged me duties on was for the full price item. Maybe if I email them in advance they could change this.

You got lucky with the colour.

I am sure once more people receive theirs, someone will swap with you in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the thread. I’d completely forgotten about this. I ordered 2 last year, a maxi and a mini. Hugely disappointing for me but my DD was thrilled. She got a bright yellow small Finchley and an orange bucket hat which she uses on camping trips.

I’m tempted by the mini as I’d like a small cross body but knowing my luck it’ll be a hat; worth a go though.

Yes I'm in SA and so the customs/duties are about 45%. And then they add on all their fees and vat and whatever else they like too.

You'll find that loads of people will want to swap with you so just wait a while till someone posts what you're after later
