Are people buying on Vinted for £50-60? Think I’d prefer to take my chance on LD rather than pay that!

£50-60 (plus postage) seems like a rip off given roka themselves sometimes do codes so you could buy directly for similar. £35 or something seems fair given there is a risk and effort to doing the dip, maybe £40-£45 for a large bag in a good colour. I've been watching the sellers with multiple items at high prices and not much seems to be shifting. Maybe it will later in the year.

My medium Bantry in Teal arrived in Oz today. It fits my laptop and I like the colour (although my ideal bag would be a red Finchley or a holdall). Still, I’m very happy with paying £30 total rather than £65 plus £30 postage normally.

It's not small but I'm not sure if it's medium or large...! It measures 41cm x 36cm

I heard back from Roka. It was a nice email. They apologized for the delay in responding and said their tracking shows I should get my delivery by tomorrow evening. It was sent at 12.25am, so not sure if that means I'll get it today or Monday (Saturday deliveries are hit and miss here) but at least it's on its way.

Mine have arrived - I orders two maxi and have what I think is a black Canfield B in nylon and a black Bantry B in the creative waste purple edition so black with a purple label.

I'm happy with the Canfield B but less so with the Bantry B - so I'll either return or sell at purchased price on Vinted. Unless anyone wants to swap it for a larger bag in a bright colour but that's unlikely!

If anyone is interested I'll post a photo.

I bought a lovely medium Bantry on Roka Swap/Sell Facebook group at a dip price plus postage. Love it as it's what I wanted. It is a better place to look than Vinted atm.

Mine arrived today via Royal Mail with no dispatch notification etc.

As predicted I received a small Bantry B in burnt orange. I love the colour but it's just too small to be practical for me.

Can anyone remind me when the price point changed? I'm pretty sure it with £59.95 when I ready the T&C's but want to be certain before I return.

I received an email response from them this morning which states they amended the terms on 27th December (no time specified, so appreciate not helpful if you ordered on that date!).

I asked to exchange mine, but they've sent out a new medium backpack and said to keep the small bantry - it was a generic email so assume this is how they've decided to handle these cases (I know people were initially getting a variety of responses!)

I bought one for DD (Ash Canvas ) not on LD , just standard but I got a KeyWorker Discount .

She loves it but was very specific about what bag she wanted so a Lucky Dip would not have worked for her .

I know I'm being impatient but I'm getting frustrated.....ordered early in the morning on 29th with next day DPD delivery - only today has my order updated to "ready to ship" and dpd have emailed that they're "expecting my parcel" 😒😒😒

@YellowPlate that’s a surprise. I’m really happy with my small black bantry but if I wasn’t I’d have accepted a free return or a partial refund and been quite happy with that. It’s up to them how they want to handle the situation but I really didn’t expect them to offer that solution.

I have the same, says they're waiting for the parcel and been that way since 6pm last night. Last year when I got the evening notification, it travelled to my area overnight and was delivered the next day. Seems Roka might still have the parcels and causing further delays

Hi, I ordered on NYD, so presumably nothing would have been done about my order until yesterday 2/1. How long after ordering does it usually take to get a notification of ‘ready to despatch’? (I’m not expecting it until next week, but am just curious.)

Am I right in thinking some people didn’t hear anything at all between ordering and arrival?

@IlovePond I ordered on the 28th and mine arrived today without a notification. I checked online and it still says unfulfilled 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve just received mine! Didn’t have a notification & there’s no update on my ‘Shop’ app either. I’ve got a black Bantry B in medium & a Paddington in Teal (I think!) I may send the Bantry back as I’d have preferred a brighter colour - happy with the Paddington though!
